Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

I just got my Topaz, after over 20 fails! In the regular breeding cave, too! I will hope for a second one, for egg display, but that is just iceing on my cake of joy.
So...should I breed some Leap Years just in case we can gift our friends? I have several friends who just joined our game a few months ago, and they all love the great golden beastie!

Something strange about this one. I breed in both the cave and on the island, but no luck.
Regret I did not save all the falls as eggs. It would have been a remarcable collection - surely over 30 now.
Coplaining and hoping for dust!

I put my magic pair in at lunch time today as I've been in conference most of the day at work. On my afternoon tea break I thought I ought to check in, and I now have my second gemstone breeding. Woo hoo. Congratulations to all who have her, and sending the wizard your way to wave that magic wand of his over your breeding caves and grant you your wish
Then it's back to breeding more leap year....just in case the wizard grants the wish of a dragon gift!

I totally agree with Diz. I always feel a warm feeling of accomplishment whenever I'm able to beat out the time limit to breed a rare Dragon. No sense in getting your IPad or IPhone jail broken then just buying the dragons with your unlimited gems. Trust me you won't play for very long buddy cause you'll just grow tired of the game for a lack of challenge. Play it fair and square dude. You might be surprise how fun it is. Cheers!

Well it has it's days that it will decide to work for 35min or so for a couple times a day then otherdays it's just doesn't go at all

What device are you using? Is everything updated - device and DV?

My only fails, plus one swamp that is almost ready to hatch, with 2 turquoise dragons on their way. Amazing for only the second day in. Couldn't be happier. Thanks wizard - love that thing you do with that magic wand of yours.
