He lives in the Sun habit. That's why i'm not sure if i really want a second solstice, i like to display as many Dragons as possible and there's only space for one in the Sun habit. An upgrade for Sun/Moon/Rainbow habit would be nice...

You should always have at least two of each limited dragon so you can breed them together even it's out of the season. Put it in the hibernation cave if you still don't have space for it.

It depends what dragon you have in earth habits, mine cashes up to 75 000 in less than an hour.. But I do agree with the plant habitat, it's very nice, but worthless now. Still have one though!

Will get a second Rainbow with Rainbow x LYD so that i will have 2 of every dragon..

That's wonderful news ...now if your good luck would just rub off on me just a little, enough to get me a solstice that would be sooo nice as I have lost count of how many try's n gems, to speed up fails. I got my pearl first try but the solstice is being very elusive and it will be just my luck to get a much awaited 48hr when I need my BC free on the 21 st for a last try. Just love this game..

I suggest not to use gems if you can contain yourself!!! I have found that when I have sped up dragons out of sheer frustration I've blown way too many gems and with no good outcome. Last week I blew 52 gems straight up and regretted that when I was left with only 4. The wizard does says that with patience you will be able to breed....I think there is something in that! If you blown gems and then need to go to the market and purchase them, the game records that.

You are absolutely right, dizzy.. It is always better to save gems and use it only when most needed.. you never know what upgrades the wizards have for the gems we save.. I was able to upgrade both my breeding spots and still have current accumulation of over 750 gems now.. This is all just because my DV addicted pals.. Thanks Guys..

Does anyone think they will upgrade the hibernation cave? I am maxed out at 100 .

Hopefully they will. I'm getting close too. For the shrine grind I need more space!

If you are looking DV friends just for gems and if you need them returned everyday, then stick with the 3.. But with more friends, you can get the 3 by cycling the list of friends everyday.. Also, if you can somehow get the Dragonsai gifting tree, you can gift 6 and also get 6 or more in return depending on your friends.. A good investment in the long run..

You should be adding friends all the time. Even if you don't send gems, or they don't send you any, when you have the time you can visit their islands and pick up cash from the party hats. Every 24 hours the $ are there. Also, you get to check out other people's creativity - got to love that! And, current trends, what people are breeding.

Friends is not only for sharing gems, you can visit their park and collect party hats, that worth a money depending on what level are you. And it's more fun to play with lots of friends. What's the fun of getting all rare dragons and decorating your island if you can not share it with others, it's boring playing alone. So thanks to all the friends who sending me request and keep sending me gems even though i can't return it immediately.

Has anyone managed to breed the solstice dragon WITHOUT having a sun habitat?
Just wondering if that might be why I can't seem to get it after so many tries
