Yes but it is the quest to get it I got it keep trying .... I haven't bought anything well just the EBC and that's it all other is patients I have only started end of April. When did this game actually start? Someone in another form said he has been in it 3 years. I mean if you want to spend money you do but not I well no yet :-d

My attempt for a 2nd solstice just got me a dodo!

That makes an awesome 24hrs of dragonvale going on here, I got the last needed to complete my set, quicksilver, forge & steel plus a solstice and dodo in the caves now

This month its the pearl dragon. The combo is snow/seaweed

Yes, every month there will be new gemstone dragon base on the gem stone of each month, this month is pearl, so we have pearl dragon, you can get by breeding snow+seaweed.

I don't think the level of the dragons you are breeding matters much. I have been breeding snow/seaweed both level 10's and switching between 3 or 4 different snow and 3 or 4 different seaweed dragons and still no Pearl after 45+ attempts . In my opinion its all luck - if I get another Snow or Seaweed by accident I may just feed them up to level 4 or level 7 and try combining that with a level 10 (even though I dont think it matters - lol). Sometimes it seems like it helps to switch things up but I really think it just comes down to luck and odds.

Got it on my 1st try. Earth and blazing. But havent spent gems for the egg or incubating
