Sounds like Jack came in after we discovered some of the key strategies to accelerate things and immediately put them in place. I've done that with grandson Jack's park and with no gems other than generous gifts (thank you!) we are flying. Already level 23 with 3 silver shrines and the second Pan on the way so we can start the Chinese Gold Coin Factory. The proper strategy can be (almost) as powerful as buying gems.

What!!!!!! You have a gold shrine, have you used a lot of money? If you didnt then youre good cos thats sort of when i started and im level 22 with one silver and all others bronze!!!!

Working from home today is allowing me to spend a bit more time (than I should, probably!) here and on DV 
So, at the moment, I'm cruising around friends' islands, collecting party hats, and giving out gems. Fun!
So, TommyB - how come you get to keep the floating wizard??? I think it's so cute and funny, and I had one for a few hours, but I notice your park has one all the time now, for at least the last week or so!
For the moment, I'm going to concentrate on silver shrines and leveling up in the game. I'm breeding a couple of storms at the moment to be able to sell for the cold shrine, and am going to keep at that until I'm at silver there (11 to go ) Also, I noticed someone is breeding a frostfire and bluefire together; that seems interesting, so I may do that at my next opening, just to see what happens.
As for still needing dragons, the only one (that I care about) that I have only one of is Panlong, so I'll keep trying for another of that too.
Until the next update/limited dragon uproar, all is calm a casa Gurukarm! :thumbs:

I'm happy to have my second leap year egg in the hatchery. These fella's sell for 2,5 million a pop, could these be a great substitute for air/sandstorm breeding? 14h30 mins is pretty acceptable if you don't have the time to keep breeding airs

One of the classics is Blazing (level 10 or 10+) with Mud (level 4). I used that in Jack's park and got two Pans in three tries. Good luck!

Did anyone else have the same thing happen that I noticed ? For quite a long time I was getting gold in the coliseum and a week or two before lyd is released I suddenly can't seem to get better than silver.
Back to conspiracy theory. Was this so we'd be gem poor and have to buy some?

Three tries is great - I think I've tried that a dozen times or more! with no joy - blazings, MORE muds, etc... Can't hurt to keep trying, though

I have a theory that dragons who have won gold before have a very hard time to get gold, while dragons of lv 10 and above who have not won yet usually bring in the gold.
