I'd like to offer a suggestion. To everyone like me tiring for lyd. Please check your marketplace before new breedings and let us know here if the golden dragon disappears.
You'll have several friends as it'll save us using gems to hurry breedings personally I'd probably be happy to gem first person to notify us.

it's March 2nd 00:01 am in my country. I still see golden dragon in the market. Maybe is better to buy Astrolabe for those who still trying to get Golden Dragon. Just in case

I went to bed last night telling myself to be happy with one LYD and not to be greedy. got up this am and saw they are still available so had to try again. did Love and Cold got a frost fire, did it again and got my second LYD. WHOO HOOO!!!!

To Poppy,
I love seeing your islands. Very creative and the little hoppers are adorable.

For those DV players that did not purchase any gems to get the LYD, here is a question:

What would you have done if you had both your breeding caves tied up with 48 hour breeds??
(you have 50 gems)

A: Would you have given in and bought gems?
B: would you have used up all you had and thats it?
C: would you have just waited to see if there was enough time at the end to try a couple times to breed one?

I am impressed with all the patience and attitudes of contentment with getting one or none LYDs.

Myself, personally I panicked because I thought I only had 48 hours to get the LYD and both my caves were occupied with 48hrs. I ended up giving in and purchasing some gems because I thought it was only way I could get one.

I have been playing since late 2011 and have every dragon except for the bone. I just had to get the LYD.

What!!!!!! You have a gold shrine, have you used a lot of money? If you didnt then youre good cos thats sort of when i started and im level 22 with one silver and all others bronze!!!!

Congrats on your first golden shrine, i am only some 240 treats away from my first one, and the rest will take another "forever".
We all hope for another update and many gamers are blocked at level 30. So, patience is the word.

Lol you move fast I been playing since early November and don't have any gold shrine yet lol, I'm about halfway on earth fire ,water and air using panlongs x x x

Actually...No...I haven't used a lot of money. But I have (sadly) resorted to filling up my Earth Habitats with Panlongs, and constantly breeding two Air Dragons, and two Sandstorm Dragons to produce coins...to increase production in my treat farms. I still have all my other Dragons in hybernation, but wish that I could display them instead of being forced by the game to produce so many treats.
