Fletch, you're speaking in terms of labels and justification - marketing.

I'm speaking in terms of essence: net effect.

BFS could have just as easily said that beans, squash and peppers (those are just made up labels) grow faster and yield more food. But they chose to exploit those like me who had taken the bait - hook, line and sinker.

But all the food is the same in that way. The best food to buy is the cheapest. 5 Dragon Snaps for 50 coins. As you move up the scale you are getting less value for money, but you are getting better value for your own time. Spending 50 coins every 30 seconds is incredibly labour intensive. So as you work up the scale you are getting more treats for less personal effort, and therefore you pay more coins. To me, the treats bought in the huge farm are the next logical step in that scale. Even more treats for less personal effort, and therefore you pay even more coins. I just don't understand why you think you are being exploited.

That closes the discussion from me. I'm moving on. I still have the Plant gold shrine to get.

I'll speak in general terms rather than specific numbers.

Oh, and just to throw some specific numbers in ... If we assume that treats got cheaper the more you bought, in the same way that they now got more expensive, instead of it costing 50 coins per treat at the higher levels it would cost 2. 500 000 coins would buy you 250 000 treats, so how many treats could you buy in a day when you were operating at peak efficiency? How many dragons could you level up to 15 in a day? How long would it take you to get your gold shrines at this rate, and most importantly, would the achievement be as satisfying?

I don't think anyone here would quit the game and if they did it would be sad but I have obtained everything the Dragonvale game has to offer and I'm still here and plan to be because I've accomplished all goals it doesn't take away from the fact that it's a wonderfully designed game and I really have fun playing and even though I go Coo coo until the next update is released I'm still here a Dragonvale addict till the very end Breed on!!!!!

Got my forth moon with love/cold level 10. The same dragons bred firefly/scorch (egg in the hatchery) and another 3 hrs in the EBI. A second sun would of been nice, but it's fine as both dragons produce the same coins. A second frost would be nice too, which this combo has produced for another addict.

Now this is weird I have not collected party hats in a couple days. And they r all gone. Anyone else having this issue???

Tricia i have noticed that if you shut down the game and re open it updates the gift gems and the party hats. At least it did it yesteray night when i wondering why the gem tree did not refill and party hats were still not available.

I had an issue yesterday with hats, that some friends had it and others friends did not. It was random friends. Stopped came back after an hour and all friends had hats. I know someone commented on this but my gem tree and hats seems to be pushed back in time. For example I noted gifts were given at 3:30 pm two days ago. My tree did not replenished gems until 4:00 yesterday.

Tricia i have noticed that if you shut down the game and re open it updates the gift gems and the party hats. At least it did it yesteray night when i wondering why the gem tree did not refill and party hats were still not available.

I've done this too, but it did not replenish my gem tree 30 minutes after my 24 hrs.

Well a this time I have 2 3hr breeds and I have a sun frost fire and a snow egg in my,hatchery all gonna end up getting sold bc I have no room for them, need the money they sell for, and have 2 of each besides sun dragon I have 5 of them

Same thing here... Last week I was giving out gems at 10 am now it has been pushed all the way to 3pm... Little by little getting later and later.

Yay on your moon! Wow! That is really crazy with love and cold! You going to keep trying them for awhile? I have been working on raising cash and the golds so I have not been breeding random dragons like that. Let us know what this newest one is.

Thank you for the warm welcome! Yes, I do plan to keep breeding them for a bit just to see if my luck keeps up! I'll be sure to let everyone know what my latest 48 hour is... I've 23 hours to go! I finally broke down last night and bought a gem tree! I'm excited to be able to send more gems a day now... everyone has been so generous!
