I love hearing tips like this just a question: when you guys/gals talk about lemonade, what are you talking about? Here in the States lemonade is usually flat, although I have bought fancy bubbly Pellegrino lemonade.

I truly believe that everyone active on this forum follows the gem for gem rule when we use the free gem gifts. Of course, some of us don't always expect to get a gem back when we give a free gem to a famous member on this forum. Anyway, if we don't use the free gems, they expire next day.

If you want a gem back, the only problem is that when someone consistently receives more than she/he can give back, her/his give-back list will grow very fast. It acts just like my credit card debt. It grows every month and I can never pay it off.

I think that BFS intensionally use the message "and others gave you gems" to warn the gift receiver that you cannot pay off your debt soon. It's a nice setting for this game.

Another way of getting gems is from the Colosseum. My dragons can win the Gold Medal almost everytime (more than 6 out of 7).

By the way, the number of your friend's friends listed in your GC is the total number of your friend's friends for ALL his/her games, NOT just for the Dragonvale. If a friend has, say, 100 friends listed in your GC, it's possible that she/he may have only a few friends playing Dragonvale.

Wish everyone finding a few faithful friends for exchanging gems DAILY. The keyword is "DAILY".

Thanks for the info Poppy. Like DragonVille I am currently putting in the PanLong island while going for the shrines. I don't have a lot a gems so i guess you could call it the ultra slow poppy route but my plan is to have two Earth Islands with 48 Panlongs (16 Earth Habitats). With those Crazies spitting gold it should be easier to go for the last few shrines. Just doing some quick math to see how long that would take with 4 Pan Longs in breeding caves the whole time.

There's one danger after you get all those Pans pumping out coins. Once that happens you are going to be powerfully tempted to check in every hour so they don't max out and stop producing. This symptom of the DV addiction can severely compromise your social life, disrupt your marriage and play havoc with your sleep habits. . You need a few Rainbows in the mix to put your mind at rest. It works for me, but more difficult for those with lives.

My fave rare island to date! I love the meandering path through the forest. Past the breeding cave, past the moon and four wonderful suns! Finally finishing with the pride and joy rainbows surrounded by paper lanterns. Love it

Seems everyone has a panlong army ^_^ Very handy for shrines. I love the eggs around the Ami'Lya ponds. Very cool design! On your panlong island the thing i'd change, cause im a little OCD and love symmetry, would be to move the left water habitat to where the library, dragonInn and water shrine are. Then the island would be mirror imaged

On your breeding island, i like that there is only one way in or out Kinda like you gotta check in and out of the thatched villa. The only thing i'd change, is remove a library or 2.

You've done an amazing job of your colosseum island! Its pretty cool to know that people love it so much, that they mimick (dont like the word copy) your design.

With your last island, it seems... Full. Personally i would put the 4 fire habitats, 2 on the left and 2 on the right. The 2 lightning across the top and the air and cold across the bottom. Then, if possible, put the treat farms in the corners. Just a suggestion though

Firstly, love the portals! I like that they are the same on all your islands. I'd do the same on your colosseum island too! Would look awesome ^_^ I also like that there are no habitats on your colosseum island. It looks clean.

Your panlong island is great too. I love the symmetry. I'd be more inclined to put your gem tree elsewhere though. Seems kinds out of place where it is.

I love that your islands are colour/color co-ordinated Especially your moon island. Wouldn't have thought the bamboo would suit the moons! Although the pagoda seems a little out of place, but still love the island.

I like the grouping on the rainbow island, but because i love symmetry (this will become a running theme ) i would put the 3 rainbow habitats across the bottom of the island and the 2 cold habitats, one on each side of the island.

Love your panlong contingent! I see you already have your 100million for when you reach level 30. I still have to start saving

Another reason i love your water and earth island! And i had to look twice to find your plant habitat! All tucked away up there Looks awesome. Especially with the moon and its flags.

I keep mentioning my OCD, which is really noticeable when u see my islands. I'd just tidy up the other 2 islands and perhaps square them up a bit. Or go completely the other direction and take out the paths and make it a more natural landscape with some more trees and a pond or 2. Just a thought

I love the layout of your volcano island and the lack of pathways. Your islands seem symmetrical without being too organised... If that makes sense!

Your cold and air island is awesome! As is your air only island. As i said, simple designs and yet so elegant. I love the statues leading into this island. And the rainbows in the corners

The island with the volcano on it looks very busy. I love the portal though! Did u do this first or was it Anastasia? Not sure what i would do with this island though... Perhaps put the air habitats closer to the edge of the island and take out some paths. Grass looks good too

Well Shellee! I finally made it to your islands Lets start with your colosseum island. These are my faves cause they tend to be so unique! I love how your suns flank you colosseum! They look like giant guards watching over the game!

Your cold island is pretty impressive too! I love the lack of paths and the small decorations really compliment the clean lines of the island.

I like the libraries near the portals! It would be good to see this on all yor islands. Kinda looks like you stop in there as you enter the island to get some information on the dragons you're about to see

And a plant habitat!! Yay ^_^ Dont see many of them these days. Adding the extra happy trees around the habitats makes it appear larger. Good work!

Aah. The 'fart' island. Lol I can't wait to see what you do here. Perhaps a chinese garden theme? Looking forward to seeing it

Nah, of course I return every gem I get...that's exactly my point, you try your best to give. All I'm saying is that it doesn't feel as good when I return a gem to a friend who I see has a high level, has lots of friends and I can see that they receive plenty of gems, but who doesn't have the tree. I have 2 friends like that on my list, of course I return their gems. Would I initiate the giving...no. Would you?

Btw, the more you give, the more you receive

I always return gems as soon as I get them, but I never get more than 3 gems a day if that many. I have rarely sent all the gems I could every day. if I send 2 gems in a row to a person and get nothing back, I cross them off the list. but then I don't have a huge list of friends and don't really want one.

I would like the ability to just visit someone's island without having to put them on a friend list. does anyone think that would be an interesting feature?

It's a clear drink fizzy and doesn't have lots of flavour. Quite sweet and as its commercially made probably has a minor salt content. It's used as a straight drink also a mixer. Bit more taste than soda water not quite as sweet as cream soda.
Also good when fizz has gone for rehydrating upset tummies.
Just to add confusion you can also get cloudy lemonade. It has more lemon flavour but not as good for upset yum as lemon can be a bit sharp.
Hope that helps. Ps do you have Sprite? It's similar but is lemon and lime.
