Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Thank you so much, you have no idea how much I needed that! I've been stressing over being misunderstood here. It's not like I'm obsessing about whether others have the tree or not, it's just something I noticed and then wondered about.

It's not easy dealing with hyper-active left & right brains. Most of us can't keep up. :)

I love hearing tips like this :) just a question: when you guys/gals talk about lemonade, what are you talking about? Here in the States lemonade is usually flat, although I have bought fancy bubbly Pellegrino lemonade.

We have two types here in Australia. The made with lemons and sugar, kids selling it in front of their houses type and Sprite/7 Up type.

I hope you get your blue fire. Just be warned, it could also be a cold dragon, I feel so bad for telling you that :( good luck!!!

Can you believe the weather. I loved seeing all the kids walking to the pools in my neighborhood yesterday. Too bad it's going to end tomorrow.

That stinks, we will know in a few hours. It just been amazingly beautiful weather lately. Love, love the day.

Another one of my islands explained...

Winter Island

This is a multi-purpose island. The reason it serves a number of purposes is that it has a wonderful climate. As someone stated here earlier, dragons generate a lot of heat. Which makes most of the islands very hot (the CGCF unbearably so). The cool climate here is very popular with resident park workers and many visitors. Elements include:

0 Cold Habitats
The four habitats are stocked with a combination of three Frostfire and/or Bluefire dragons. When optimized (can you find the cold boost?) they produce 696 coins a minute, second only to Pan filled Earth habitats. This is actually part of the CGCF, but much more civilized.

0 Management Housing
Park managers and executives live here (the Bird lives in one of the six houses - the Bird runs a tight ship). It's a lot like Hawaii. While visitors flock to the hot and dry leeward sides of the islands, the natives prefer the windward sides where it is much cooler. Housing here is highly coveted.

0 Food & Lodging
More sophisticated visitors, and more well do to, prefer to stay here. Rates are much higher than accommodations on the Colesseum Island which does get it's share of hooligans and can get rowdy at times. Things here are quiet and relaxing.

0 Moon Dragons
Just as the two Sun dragons are in perfect context on the CGCF Island, two Moon dragons add to the cool and relaxing environment here. I would have preferred all Bluefires to maintain the color scheme, but I'm going with the team I have at the moment.

In a perfect world even when high production was required it would occur in a place with a high quality of life like the Winter Island.

I got that dreaded message again "and others gave you gems". Ugh! It was sometime between 3:00 - 5:15 PM US Eastern time. These are the people that were listed. I am missing two. Please let me know if you sent one and are not listed here. Dekliko, twiz, maxsuper16 and shiner84

Keeping Track of Gold Shrine Progress

I've found a way that shows me exactly where I stand in terms of acquiring the Lightening gold shrine that I'm currently working on. I currently have 30 of the 50 required, which leaves 20. Each one requires about 400,000 treats to get to level 15. So I need 8,000,000 gold treats to get there. What I'm doing now which really tracks my progress well is to wait and do them all at once (that will be a fun day!). So I immediately covert coins into treats and my treat total shows me exactly where I stand. Right now my total is about 1,400,000 treats. I accumulate around a million a day, so I should be there next Friday, God willing.

Poppy

That sound really fun!!! What a great idea. Wish I could be there with you. . .but in spirit I will.

Hi all. I've been reading this forum for months and you've all been amazingly helpful!! But I've decided that I can't go on being a loner because I need gems to get my EBI and it's sooo expensive trying to level up my dragons!! So if you're wondering about my friend request - it's from me!
I've just got my first moon in the hatchery and I'm excited (but I was trying for a sun )

Welcome - and count your blessings. I think most folks here have had a harder time getting Moons than Suns.

It's a clear drink fizzy and doesn't have lots of flavour. Quite sweet and as its commercially made probably has a minor salt content. It's used as a straight drink also a mixer. Bit more taste than soda water not quite as sweet as cream soda.
Also good when fizz has gone for rehydrating upset tummies.
Just to add confusion you can also get cloudy lemonade. It has more lemon flavour but not as good for upset yum as lemon can be a bit sharp.
Hope that helps. Ps do you have Sprite? It's similar but is lemon and lime.

Hazel from my iPhone

I have heard flat 7up is good for nausea, Gatorade is good for vomiting as it replenishes electrolytes. I never heard putting a newspaper on top of a soda can to make a carbonated drink flat. Is that from the newsprint?

Thanks. Yes I know they have so it was just a lucky accident! I used a fire and storm combo. I've decided now to go for another love dragon before they finish and just got a 5 hr breeding time! Frostfire is still eluding me though!
