So I got a 48 hr with a lvl 4 cold and lvl 4 scorch and I'm hoping this is the sun I'm looking for please please pleas be a sun.

Yay! Congrats! Hope it's your sun! :thumbs: It's just not fair that there is so many combos that will pop out sun and moon both and sometimes all three of them.

I have never used a gem to speed up any process in DV.. Have been patient for a long while..
Am saving all those gems for any interesting update that DV release in future..

You are sooo patient! I am saving again too and didn't waste too many on panlong and love. :thumbs:

Wow some of you are hard core, waking up in the night to gather coins and switch out your breeding caves. I enjoy sleep too much to do that. Now I feel ok about how things seem to take me longer than a lot of people on here. Hats off to you die hards!

I am definitely sleep deprived! Lol. I get up 2-3 times a night but not mainly for coins...could care less. I get up to check for gems received because it seems like everytime I don't I get that dreaded message "and others sent you gems" and I usually can't get it tracked down to who I'm missing. I use to receive most of them in the middle of the night but it has switched for the most part to one here and one there.

Hi all, I am a silent lurker spying on this forum to get great tips, I have added some ppl and hope you'll accept my friend request as the only DV friend I have is my sister! I'd love to look at other people's islands to get ideas as I'm not the most creative person (as you will see). Got a rainbow and moon but still trying for a sun, panlong, sandstorm, frost fire and a darn blue fire which I want more than anything but can't get aarrghhh!!

for those who are after blue fire

yesterday and today i try fire + storm 3 times

yesterday the first time I tried the combo and got a 12hour Im afraid its a cold (I did that one time a week ago) and it turned out to be a bluefire

so the second time I do it again and 12 hours

third time....booom 48 hours not sure what it is

so i guess this combo is good for few days !

btw I tried this combo a week ago for like 5time always give me fire =.= so I switch to another combo

Just been lurking on here for a few days. Have learned a lot so thanks.

Just wanted to say I bred a level 10 blue fire to a level 10 love and have my second sun now in my nusery. Hoped for a moon or rainbow. Hopefully soon!

Hello all. Sorry I have not been on. I have been at the hospital with my grandfather in ICU for the past several days. He is still in ICU in serious condition. ( stepped down from critical). Today is his birthday and he is 82 years old!

I have been trying to keep up with who has sent me gems and send them back. I have gotten the "and others" message once and will try to get that one figured out. Please be patient with me sending them all back.

On a brighter note I did manage to get one Love dragon. Right before I left for the hospital. I have not read the thread at all and do not know all the ways to get the new dragon. I got mine with lightening and flower! I did also get my sun dragon!! So now I need frostfire and sandstorm!

Lightning and flower seems to be the most popular combo for love. Also lightning and poisen has been mentioned too. Congrats on your sun too

I can't remember how i got my frostfire but i got my sandstorm with level 10 (or above) Air on left and a level 4 mud on right. Hope u get them soon

Rainbow Island - Where All Paths Lead To a Pot of Gold

The last thing I did last night before I went to sleep was to do some quick rejuggling of my dragon deployment. I had eight Earth habitats with three Panicky Pans in each one and four Cold habitats with three Frostfires and/or Bluefires in each. The Earth habitats reach their $75K limit in an hour and the Cold habitats were about the same. Meanwhile I had seven rares in the HC. The balance was off as I hated to think of all the wasted production while I failed to collect coins during the night. (This is the downside of being a hyper Type A, folks - I have no mechanism to control pace. Only two speeds - On & Off. Pretty primitive, but you gotta play the cards you're dealt.)

I really needed to balance things better to reduce the pressure to collect coins. So I reduced the number of Panicky Pan habitats to six, removed all the Cold habitats, and put those dragons in the HC (have I mentioned how much I love the HC?). That enabled me to roll out five Rainbows and a Sun. I've mentioned it before - its a balanced Tortoise & Hare approach. The PP's collect coins in a frenzy but cap out quickly, while the Rainbows collect at a more moderate pace but just keep on going with their $1M limit. I think the balance for my personality is about right. I actually did sleep better last night.

Anyway, Rainbow Island replaces Cascades Mountain Island.
