Congratulation on saving your gems. It's impressive, as it would be so tempting to speed breeding/hatching with a gem or two and still save. You definitely have strong will power and patience. I wish you could transfer some to me through this thread .

Lol. Have been playing for some time and have refused to buy gems but I got my very first breed time a few weeks ago, a sun, and crumbled and purchased the smallest amount of gems possible to speed things up a little. The will power comes and goes. Am currently sitting on my third ever 48 hr breed time and I will not speed things up. No I won't

Wow some of you are hard core, waking up in the night to gather coins and switch out your breeding caves. I enjoy sleep too much to do that. Now I feel ok about how things seem to take me longer than a lot of people on here. Hats off to you die hards!

Yes, when all 8 Panicked Pans habitats and the one hour Air/Sandstorm breeding cycle are in full operation and I'm online. Just about that amount, perhaps a bit more Thanks for your help!

for those who are after blue fire

yesterday and today i try fire + storm 3 times

yesterday the first time I tried the combo and got a 12hour Im afraid its a cold (I did that one time a week ago) and it turned out to be a bluefire

so the second time I do it again and 12 hours

third time....booom 48 hours not sure what it is

so i guess this combo is good for few days !

btw I tried this combo a week ago for like 5time always give me fire =.= so I switch to another combo

Great going! Makes me wonder if BFS changes the recipe from time to time or if it's more like rolling dice with a constant preset number of combinations. Of course with dice there are hot streaks and cold streaks (don't ask) and my bet is that that's their model.

Just wanted to say I bred a level 10 blue fire to a level 10 love and have my second sun now in my nusery. Hoped for a moon or rainbow. Hopefully soon!

No, because to get level 2 it costs 5 x 4, hence 20.

Working it out is actually much simpler than listing of the numbers I did. Because it doubles every level, you can work out total food required to get to any level by doubling the amount it costs to jump the last level and subtract the cost of moving from level 1 to 2. So in this case it's twice what it costs to go from level 14 to level 15, minus the cost of going from level 1 to level 2. Or (163 840 X 2) - 20 = 327 660.

Another way of putting it is that to go up any level, you need to feed them the same amount of food they've ever eaten again plus another 20 food.

The exponential graph looks like this:

The food required to reach the lower levels doesn't even make a blip till you get to level 12.

Dear Segbert, can you explain the rationale behind "redoing" your islands. I have a new island being built ANSI as I'm setting up from scratch, would like to do so as well as possible. I have managed to breed two rainbows, and today bred them. It will cut down earning temporarily, but then I'll be in business. Bred one Panlong first try, but no luck with either sun, moon, sandstorm or frost fire. *sigh* I shall keep perservering. Learn a lot from you mob. Kim

I finally hit silver before I went to bed and this morning and learned 100,000 food brought my Pan up to one level, 13. So what I meant in redesign was creating more of a cash flow island similar to Poppys. Multiple earth habitats housed between 2-3 pans to generate max. coin in a short time. As it takes a lot of food to get even one dragon to gold. Just know it just takes perseverance
