Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Okay, in 30 minutes I'm going to use 26 gems to speed up both my Panlong and (oh please DV gods) my first Rainbow so I can try for the Love dragon. This 30 minutes is going to feel like forever!! Also have to work out which habitat to destroy so I can get my Rainbow a place to live, but also wanted my Panlong to have a new home of his own so he can earn lots. Hmmm, decisions, decisions.

Be sure you have the Hibernation Cave, well worth the investment.

I haven't looked yet, but I just wanted to say you only had to move your water boost to your earth island to give the panlong 44% boosting. You would have lost some income on your water island, of course, but the panlong would have more than made up for it.

I heard fire and water boosts were the way to go, so i put the fire boost on my water island and my earth boost on my fire island. I dont mind it now actually cause it freed up an island, so i can now make my 'rares only' island :)

We've discussed lately some of the ways to keep track of who you owe gems to. One particular problem I have is that I use two different devices - my iPad during the day and my iPhone in the middle of the night. During the day I just wrote them down in a notebook. However, that isn't possible in the dark in the middle of the night with my wife sleeping in the same room.

But I've come up with a solution that works very well for me. When I receive notice of a gem received I exit DV and open Notepad and enter the name there. As I sync up the two devices using iCloud (cool technology) the lists are always up to date on both devices.

My way is not nearly as sophisticated as yours, since I'm usually tied down doing something else when I check. I only use my iPhone but I take snapshots and since those are in chronological order is hard to do a mistake plus I can easy delete the snapshots and move on ;-) hope this helps!

One Other CGCF Component

There's one more piece to my coin factory. My Cascades Mountain island has four Cold habitats and a total of 11 Frostfires and Bluefires (I need one Cold dragon to produce the Ices I'm currently using for the Cold and Air good shrines). With a production rate of 232 coins a minute, the 3 Frostfires and/or Bluefires in each habitat produce 696 coins a minute, which is 41,760 an hour. Since the Cold habitat has a maximum of 50,000, they match up well with the hourly pickup of the Earths with Panlongs.
