Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Poppy has lost control. Unfortunely, I have no patience. I have to be the ideal customer that BFS had in mind when they designed this game. The slippery slope has gotten steeper. Here's the tale of woe.

I commented earlier that had I had decided, against all logic that I presented here in detail in several empirically impeccable posts, to go for the stinking' gold shrines. Once I started thing about it the thing that made the most sense in order accelerate the process and run under my own power as much as possible was to build a gold coin generating plant. Well, guess what? That's what I've spent the morning doing. My Chinese island is on an economic par with China. Three earth habitats are filled with Panlons each, all at level 15. And three cold habitats are filled to the max (except for one Cold I need for my Snow breeding) with Frostfires and Bluefires. It's a machine!

There's one small, little bitty rub... It looks like the next Hawaii vacation might have to be postponed a bit.

The Germans have a saying that a sucker is born every minute - all you have to do is find them. Well, BFS found good old Poppy in his hospital bed. Why can't I watch television like everyone else?

Oh well, on to the gold shrines.

I was trying again for the Frost Fire and ended up with another Moon.

Got my first Panlong! Tried a Sandstorm/Panlong combo and got 36 hrs!!
Hoping for at least 4 of them, one for each habitat

Also, got my first silver shrine - Fire. Wow! Was able to get a couple dragons to level 12, then went broke...10,240 food per feeding needed now.
Really wish the habitats earned more money to accommodate the higher lever dragons!

How does one earn enough coins to by all that food?
This is gonna take a really long time...guess I'll just work on the Plant shrine for now.

I'm right there with you! Except I don't have a Sandstorm. . But I finally got all silver shrines except for lightening and that took forever!!! I have stopped for a while trying to get the dragons I need, but I cannot even fathom gold shrines right now!!! Guess it guarantees I'll be busy for a long time!!! Tehe. . Feel free to add me!

Congrats! You are doing well! :thumbs:

The shrines are a real pain. It is better to do 2 at a time..like my plant/fire I did with poison/flower or poison/poison. 30 min breed times and you use half the food and get credit for 2 at once. :thumbs: it's a process either way. Good luck!

Ok...this is funny... My arm was hurting today. May have slept funny or something. Then later on my hubby teased me and said, "your arm hurts because of how you hold your phone playing DV! Just look how you hold it playing that game!". Rofl!!! I thought it was just hilarious!!!

Phibes had reported she got a 48 hours from Panlong and Bone. So i gave it a try and end up with ... Another Panlong.
This could be useful for those who want a second one or do not want to use a pair to get a new one.
