Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

I am guessing that suns, moons, panlongs, etc are mothers to get. I have been trying to breed the first two for sometime now and pan about a week been using dragonvale wikia. It said to use mud with blazing or Fog with Lava or bone, well needless to say been using fog and lava/lava with fog. Now where does these elements come up with a mud??? Can someone tell me THE SUPER DE DUPER combinations for suns, moons, and panlongs please?

As for panlongs, they are tough. Many on this forum went 40+ tries before getting one. The two combinations you mention are the only ones that I know that have been successful. There are pro's and con's with each. Blazing/Mud seems to have a little more success, but it frequently produces the dreaded 12-hour $5K Lava when it fails. The Fog/Lava, oddly enough, seems to produce a lot of $1M 8-hour dragons when it fails, which is a nice consolidation prize.

As for the other rares, check out tHe signature file of GT500Girl who posts here frequently. It's the best compilation of breeding pairs for rares and hard to gets that I've seen.

You also have to realize that before the update, me and Brooklyn had our islands complete. I had over 300 million gold, 2-300 gems thanks to everyone sending, and I sold off everything on my islands giving me another 100 million. So 400 million gold, plus the gems sent me straight to level 25 from 20, with almost all my dragons level 15 and my shrines all silver. I had about 125 mill and over 100 gems from everyone when the second update came out. That sent me to roughly level 27-28 and all my shrines to be close to gold like I mentioned before. So in reality, all the hard work was done before the update.

It's not hard to do like a total of 40 dragons to 15. That's how I got all my shrines gold. Can't say the same for Brooklyn, but I am 99% sure he got his the same way. It also helps when you get 10-25 gems each day. It's extremely easy to do the shrines and goals when almost all your work had been done for weeks.

However, we don't have friends simply for gems. I love to see their islands, and the party hats give me 9,000 each hat. That's 12,000 for every friend. I have close to 150 friends. That's 1,800,000 coins EVERY day. Yes it takes a long time to do, but it's worth it. That's 10,000 extra food EVERY day. That's NOT including the gold from habitats, and selling airs and sandstorms. It's definitely better to have more friends.

I hate to be the one to pop the gen/boost bubble BUT...

All of me dragons that i breed with are first gen,

I have all of the boosts severalon the same island as my breeding cave,

I have breed every single dragon in the game this way (I also use the new epic breeding island)

The only thing that seems to help is the level of the dragon, the higher the better.

All this talk about generations and bootsts is just silly, about as real as worrieing a black cat will cross your path.


ALSO if you have more friends then gems per day its your own fault if you can't repay gems.

I get six gifts a day... I have six friends, (let me know if the math is to confusing)

If someone dosent gift me for 3 days I dump him and find someone who will.

My six friends get a gift from me EVERY DAY and gift me the same.

I keep seeing people on these boards talking about 100+ friends and thats just plain stupid.

This is a friendly forum filled with wonderful people who share helpful and encouraging advice. Please remember that before you post comments that demean people's abilities.

Wow some bad vibes on the forum lately! we've been called stupid, confused, silly ,one of the best helpful and supportive people on here told to shut up more than once and to stop complaining !!!!! I think they should take their own advise as everyone on here is only trying to help other people by sharing their own experiences and I for one am going to listen as I had no rare dragons except blue fire before joining here and getting all this advise and support has got me nearly all of them, (you know who you guys are THANKS btw x ) no need to mention the gems the party hats and the exploring of other peoples wonders but i will anyway,this is a wonderful site and your spoiling it with your negativity so please stop it ! Sorry if I offend anyone with this but I think it needed to be said x

That is funny, cause whenever I do the blazing mud combos, I always get fogs and other blazings.

It's so hard to keep up with the thread. But I decided to update u guys in my endeavors of getting the moon, frostfire and the 4 element dragon ( name just slipped my mind).
I'm glad to inform you guys that I finally got my moon dragon an this morning I got my 36 hrs breeding time. The only one I'm missing is frostbite.

Hi Cox, I second all that you've just said.

Before I found this forum, I was struggling to get any rares (even bluefire). Each time I saw someone posting a successful rare combination, I'll take a snapshot of the breed to try it out. And now, thanks to this forum, I managed to get all of them! I don't even wanna think where I would be now without all your help

Like I said on my first post, I had been reading this thread for months and was kinda shy to do even my first post as you guys have such a great friendship and support system worked out and I didn't want to 'intrude'. But what the heck, I still did and I'm glad I joined.

I hope some of the newcomers will understand that none of us are here to show-off, but rather to help each other along. It pleases us nothing more than to know we've managed to help another forum-er succeed in their quest.

The shut up and stop complaining was me. I am very very sorry! I was just in a huge state of frustration, and people complaining about suns, moons, and rainbows was just getting on my nerves. I apologize for that, and please don't kick me off the forum!

Well I got 2 panlongs in my breeding cave nd another one in my hatchery. So those will be 4 planning on having 6 to fill 2 large earth habitats.
