Second panlong In epic breeding island!!

Congratulations. Ditto for me this morning, just when I was about to give up on that breeding pair (Blaze/Mud - both 15). Very happy now

I finally have a panlong breeding! This is my 46th attempt! Level 4 mud and level 7 blazing on EBI. Both 3rd gen. Was hoping to end up with 2 panlong one in each cave, but got another blazing. Good luck to those still on the hunt for the panlong and any other dragon you're aiming for xoxo

I hate to be the one to pop the gen/boost bubble BUT...

All of me dragons that i breed with are first gen,

I have all of the boosts severalon the same island as my breeding cave,

I have breed every single dragon in the game this way (I also use the new epic breeding island)

The only thing that seems to help is the level of the dragon, the higher the better.

All this talk about generations and bootsts is just silly, about as real as worrieing a black cat will cross your path.


ALSO if you have more friends then gems per day its your own fault if you can't repay gems.

I get six gifts a day... I have six friends, (let me know if the math is to confusing)

If someone dosent gift me for 3 days I dump him and find someone who will.

My six friends get a gift from me EVERY DAY and gift me the same.

I keep seeing people on these boards talking about 100+ friends and thats just plain stupid.

Sorry if anyone if offended by this, but I dont edit the truth... for anyone.

I have breed every single dragon in the game this way (I also use the new epic breeding island)

The only thing that seems to help is the level of the dragon, the higher the better.

All this talk about generations and bootsts is just silly, about as real as worrieing a black cat will cross your path.

Well I got 2 panlongs in my breeding cave nd another one in my hatchery. So those will be 4 planning on having 6 to fill 2 large earth habitats.

With all due respect, there are at least three reasons to be friends with someone and you are focusing only on one of them:

(1) To give gems, as you mention.
(2) To have the ability to see other parks, particularly those you "meet" on this forum. I have received 75+ requests for that reason (they're interested in my Nursery Island, which has one baby of each dragon) and have accepted them all.
(3) To retrieve gold coins from party hats. It's tedious but a great pastime when you're lying in bed awake in the middle of the night.

I am guessing that suns, moons, panlongs, etc are mothers to get. I have been trying to breed the first two for sometime now and pan about a week been using dragonvale wikia. It said to use mud with blazing or Fog with Lava or bone, well needless to say been using fog and lava/lava with fog. Now where does these elements come up with a mud??? Can someone tell me THE SUPER DE DUPER combinations for suns, moons, and panlongs please?

I know I'm a broken record, but I can't imagine how difficult it must be to get golden shrines. Just for an experiment I sold a level 15 frostfire today ( I have 11/50 for a cold gold shrine,mostly by accident). I also sold a level 15 panlong since it credits four habitats (sorry GL Girl!). I've purchased 230 gems ($9.00) to speed up incubation and hatching and to generate coins breeding and selling airs and sandstorms. I usually wait an hour for incubation and hatching so then I can accelerate things by using only one gem. OK.

At this point I have 12 gems left ( oh, friends sent me 9 - thank you, they will be repaid eventually) and I have just now replaced the level 15 frostfire and level 15 panlong, and I've also upgraded a couple of other dragons from 11-12 to 15 (I'm going to take all my adults to level 15, except the ones living in the plant habitat - and of course the stinking' lava).

So, $9.00, involved all day (remember, I'm bed bound), and I've managed to accrue one credit in five habitats toward the 50 I need I need in each to achieve gold status. it's simply a giant undertaking to get those gold shrines. There most be some secret methodology that I'm over- looking, but kudos to those who have done it.

P.S. I love my new finches. They're set up next to this hospital bed that I spend most of the time in. They probably relate to me at about the same level as my DV dragons, but it's great to have the company.

You also have to realize that before the update, me and Brooklyn had our islands complete. I had over 300 million gold, 2-300 gems thanks to everyone sending, and I sold off everything on my islands giving me another 100 million. So 400 million gold, plus the gems sent me straight to level 25 from 20, with almost all my dragons level 15 and my shrines all silver. I had about 125 mill and over 100 gems from everyone when the second update came out. That sent me to roughly level 27-28 and all my shrines to be close to gold like I mentioned before. So in reality, all the hard work was done before the update.

It's not hard to do like a total of 40 dragons to 15. That's how I got all my shrines gold. Can't say the same for Brooklyn, but I am 99% sure he got his the same way. It also helps when you get 10-25 gems each day. It's extremely easy to do the shrines and goals when almost all your work had been done for weeks.

We've all said those are theories, not fact. We've also all said what works for some might not work for all ;P

Congrats on your success!

However, we don't have friends simply for gems. I love to see their islands, and the party hats give me 9,000 each hat. That's 12,000 for every friend. I have close to 150 friends. That's 1,800,000 coins EVERY day. Yes it takes a long time to do, but it's worth it. That's 10,000 extra food EVERY day. That's NOT including the gold from habitats, and selling airs and sandstorms. It's definitely better to have more friends.
