Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Oh yeh, still going strong with nada! Lol. That's good! I had a fog, blazing and now a lava going. I'll know what the 48 hrs is tomorrow morning. Darn lava! I realize breeding airs were not so bad! :D

I forgot one of ur caves were taken with 48hr! Thats harsh! My theory is im
Making good money from the breeds im doing in my attempt for panlong which is going towards food for my shrines. Just a little impatient to have one!!

Again I completely agree. Forget the calculations. You'll find that the shrines come faster than you anticipated. All you have to do is all the dragons you get while breeding to get a rare can be leveled up before being sold. You don't have to try for the shrines to get them. When I was actually trying for the shrines, I only had about 12 to go for each shrine. I wasn't even trying. Just breeding, feeding and selling. Then boom. Shrines turn pretty gold.

Yeah, the thought of producing all that food could be daunting, but achievable like yourself and Brooklyn.

Here's a savings of $500,000 in getting double the amount of treats. With 7 large treat farms and once day click on 3000 treats @ $75,000. 7x3000=21,000 treats cost $525,000. Leaving my 8th huge treat farm open, I can still take advantage of the 10,000 treats in 1 mins.

I know I'm a broken record, but I can't imagine how difficult it must be to get golden shrines. Just for an experiment I sold a level 15 frostfire today ( I have 11/50 for a cold gold shrine, mostly by accident). I also sold a level 15 panlong since it credits four habitats (sorry GL Girl!). I've purchased 230 gems ($9.00) to speed up incubation and hatching and to generate coins breeding and selling airs and sandstorms. I usually wait an hour for incubation and hatching so then I can accelerate things by using only one gem. OK.

At this point I have 12 gems left ( oh, friends sent me 9 - thank you, they will be repaid eventually) and I have just now replaced the level 15 frostfire and level 15 panlong, and I've also upgraded a couple of other dragons from 11-12 to 15 (I'm going to take all my adults to level 15, except the ones living in the plant habitat - and of course the stinking' lava).

So, $9.00, involved all day (remember, I'm bed bound), and I've managed to accrue one credit in five habitats toward the 50 I need I need in each to achieve gold status. it's simply a giant undertaking to get those gold shrines. There most be some secret methodology that I'm over- looking, but kudos to those who have done it.

P.S. I love my new finches. They're set up next to this hospital bed that I spend most of the time in. They probably relate to me at about the same level as my DV dragons, but it's great to have the company.

I finally have a panlong breeding! This is my 46th attempt! Level 4 mud and level 7 blazing on EBI. Both 3rd gen. Was hoping to end up with 2 panlong one in each cave, but got another blazing. Good luck to those still on the hunt for the panlong and any other dragon you're aiming for :) xoxo

Congrats

Not only your babies island is amazing, I love what you did with the bamboo and created a asian influence red square on one of your island.

Thank you! That one was a challenge because I haven't had much experience with Asian design. I thought the gem tree gained an air of mystery surrounded by pagodas.

So I have finally received a 48 from a frost fire / storm in the EBC. My first 48 I can't wait to see what it could be. My ideas?

Congrats, the first one is super exciting! (actually they are all exciting!)

It could be any of the rares. What were you trying for? Congratulations!!

I really want a moon, would be just as happy with a sun. My kiddos already have names for both of them picked out. Come Saturday night I will know. Gotta love the waiting game :)

Thanks everyone!

Yeah it's a long wait. 2 days incubation than 2 days in the hatchery. I 'm in my last 24 hrs incubation. I was trying for a rainbow with a blaze x crystal. Congratulation!!!

And to you. If I could I would give you one of my rainbows. I can't wait to find out what egg you're going to have.
