Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Yeah, I know the Earth habitat makes the most sense money-wise but I will be putting mine in the Water habitat anyway - just because the description suggests the dragons would prefer it . I also know that pan long actually means water dragon so I kinda feel stupidly obligated, haha. I know, I know, I am obviously thinking way too much about virtual dragons and Backflip wouldnt make the other habitats a possibility unless they were possible but I just CAN'T do it...for now anyway

Actually, Panlong means 'coiled dragon' and it IS a water or aquatic dragon. Doesn't matter tho.

I had mine in a water habitat yesterday where it earned 342 coins/minute because of the water boost (and no negative boosts). Today I moved it to an earth habitat on an island that also has an air boost. The air boost has positive and negative effect on it, leaving it with 'only' 274 coins/minute. That's ok, I'll leave it there for now and will put my second one with it once it hatches in 3 days. It's just a matter of esthetics this time. If I ever breed more I will put them in a water habitat for sure.

It's frustrating isn't it that's all I'm getting too and the odd fog and a few lavas not too many tho thankfully ! I like your bubble island even though I'm not particularly fond of the fog dragon lol it looks cute as someone said earlier like a big bubble bath x

so now I try my best to contribute

for the new year dragon : mud(lv10)+blazing(lv10) the third time the dragon came out

and it works for all my friends

and now I got a question

can we still breed a bone dragon and reindeer dragon , if so can u guys share the combo tks in advance

Sorry, they are no longer available. Well, at least bone isn't. A few raindeer pooped up recently after we all thought they were gone (I got one too by accident, tried for something else). But I haven't heard anything since...I think they are gone now.

I think you can't breed bone dragon, except you got 2 bone already, you just have to wait until october (halloween) some people said that if you haven't update yet and you still got reindeer in your market than you still can breed reindeer. I kind of regret that I just breed 1 bone tho, so if you already got Panlong better to breed the second one so you can't breed it again anytime.
BTW thanx for your tips, but may I ask, are u using ipad or iphone/ipod? 'cause some combo is different between ipad and iphone, just want to test if this theory right or not. Thx and breed on! (I really like this "breed on" thing, Brooklyn the one who say it first and those word really help me when I got bored hahahahahahahaha)

Whah! I just realized that 36 hours from now will be in the middle of the night (well, 4 am). I guess I will have to set my alarm to send my Panlong to the hatchery. Every minute counts with these loong breeding/hatching times.

Lol Congrats! :thumbs: I'm still batting a big fat zero! Oh well...eventually. I'm happy for you!

YES, after several attempts, I have a 36 hour in the epic cave. Got it with lvl 10 mud and brand new lvl 10 blazing. All the higher combos were giving me other things. Yippee

If success rates are similar it seems to make sense to try for the Panlong with the fog/lava combo than the blazing/mud combo. When you strike out with the first one you're very apt to get a fog worth $1M. And when you strike out with the second one you're very, very likely to get the dreaded $5K lava.

I reached that conclusion after getting a chance to some breeding today with my grandsons DV. 10-12 tries and still no Panlong. That makes about 30 tries for with no success.

After throwing up several times, I decided to go on Dragonvale... My lava/fog combo had given me a mountain egg and a lava egg, so put in my mud/blazing combo. Mud left, lvl 9, blazing right lvl 5. 48 hour incubation time!!!!! I sped it up by buying more gems, its a rainbow!!! This would be really awesome if there wasn't the lingering fact my iphone might get shut off tomorrow
