Just had a big problem I put DV on and as it loaded up my little son hit the home button and I think I have been sent a couple of gems but I never seen the message but I'm sure I only had 51 and now I've got 53 so if you have sent me a gem in the last 2 hours please let me know so I can check if I have got you down thanks x

Ya, I'm using the special epic breeding island.
In fact, I use both breeding caves and it was the special epic island cave that gave me the 48hr timer.

Where or how do you know if you got gems from someone?

When someone sends you a gem you receive a notification/pop-up saying "your friend xyz gave you a gem".

Once you click on 'ok' the pop-up disappears and your gem count goes up

Well I can now say I got a frostfire in about 6 1/2 hours, now if I can finally get sandstorm, moon, and sun figured out.

I just bred a sandstorm using level 14 air and level 4 mud

I have a lot of ppl on my list but only a handful that I gift. I keep a list of the ppl that send my gems and always send them back in the order that I get them. I think that is the best way to be fair about it. My list with the gem tree is about 3 days out. Which is not bad. I have a couple ppl that I send to everyday but they also do the same.. Which is very nice.. So basically not everyone that is on my friends list gets gems..

I counted my gems return list and i have nearly 2 weeks worth! And thats with the dragonsai tree!!

To be honest, unless u are spending a lot of time clicking on the party hats, i find it is better to have a much smaller list of people that u want to visit, and send gems to. When I first started I ended up adding people more or less at random, and hardly anyone ever sent back any gems. I would much prefer to send gems to people that I interact with on the different forums I am on, and as a bonus, they are also more likely to send gems back.

Ya see that's what I was thinking maybe like 50 or so ppl that way I can get them some gems quicker. Bc Id do alot of clicking on party hats I do it every so often but I didn't no u could send only 3 when I started finding ppl for this game so I was thinking more ppl more gems plus I kept going bc how u could send more before they got the update that stop u from going nd visiting someone's and sending gems. So yeah ima try and keep it low. If you don't mind if I can add u?
