Thanks for the info! I only have one friend, so this upgrade does not really help me. I can see how nice it would be for those who have lots of friends to exchange friends to exchange gems with.

Post your name on the other thread here called FRIENDS FOR DRAGON VALE you will get loads of requests then! most don't send you gems but you can visit their Islands every 24 hours and collect 3 party hats from each friend and you get cash and if you send out gems some people send them back then you make a list of who sent them so you can return them daily x

If your username here is the same as your Game Center ID then you'll probably get friends requests just from posting in here.
I hardly had any GC friends before I started posting on the forum but that soon changed, hehe.

~*My user name is not quite the same as my GC ID though, so I added a signature *points below* to my posts which lists it; even though people still miss it/ask anyway, I am certain other people just saw it here and added me. I know I myself rarely add people from here, without specifically asking, unless I know for certain what their GC ID is. I personally also accept very single request I get, as long as the person plays DragonVale! *~

Edited to add:
The worst feeling for me now is when a new friend gives me a gem and I know it's going to take at least 3 days or more before I can return it but that person doesn't realise that and probably thinks I have just taken their gem and won't return one. I suppose I could return one the next day to all new friends but then I worry the person will get a false idea of my usual return rate and it's also not very fair to those already on my list *sigh*

Awwww, sorry to hear that. I guess with the new habitats and island available you might still be able to keep it and at least earn some more cash until your Moon arrives?!!! (which I am sure it will, eventually I'll be hoping for you :thumbs

Don't know if this helps, but just last night I got my first 48hr and it was a moon. I used the sonic+storm combo in the epic cave. Good luck!

I just completed a plant event in the colleseum and i got 0 XP!! what the?

I got the same thing yesterday but today I got 20mil. Maybe it was because the update was halfway through the 24 hour event???

Yep, i also got a plant gold medal with no xp as well. My plant dragon was already in the colosseum when I updated DV so maybe it was a one time glitch, as the next medal I actually got xp as well as coin.

Hope so Ive gotmy lava dragon in the colleseum now with about 12hrs to go. See what happens. Thanks for letting me know

This is a glitch. It was meant to be awarded once u had bred one of each type of dragon. However there was an update and new dragons were added but i dont think they changed something with this award as many ppl have reported getting it after breeding a normal dragon. I got mine when i bred my reindeer dragon, but still didnt have the sun, moon or rainbow. Wierd huh?

Breed fire with water. They boil and make air LOL
