Just made level 25! Yay me! However I'm so poor now lol. 50mil for the island ugh! My shrine leveling is going on hold for a bit until I can make more gold coins.

I posted this query in a separate thread, but can't find it again so I thought I'd try this busy spot. My query is about upgrading the Dragonvale nursery. At Level 17 I already have the nursery which hatches two eggs, but I notice I can upgrade further for 23 gems. However, I can't find out what advantage this would be over the current situation. I don't to spend my hard earned gems on something of little or no value.

Uh-oh! I accidentally put dragon fruit instead of sarjin pepper in my speed-treat farm. Ugh! Now I have to wait for 3 hours until one of the other ones becomes available. Thats what happens when you're on the forum on the PC and on DV at the same time

No! I do that all the time! I'm normally too much of a horder with my gems to speed it up. Lol

I did that through the week but I had about 12 hours to wait. I wasn't prepared to waste the gems so I waited. Impatiently!

I don't know if you have given it any thought, but as level 20 dragons are referenced to in posts here, I took a moment and did some calculations on what is involved to get a dragon to that level.

Level 20
----------
15-16 = 81,920 x 4 = 327,680 treats (amt req to move from level 1 to 15!)
16-17 = 163,840 x 4 = 655,360
17-18 = *327,680 x 4 = 1,310,720
18-19 = 655,360 x 4 = 2,621,440
19-20 = 1,310,720 x 4 = 5,242,880

Total = 10,158,080

Errata:
0 Requires $507,904,000 in gold coins
0 10,158,080 treats would move 31 dragons from level 1 to level 15

I don't know about you, but I simply can't relate. I considered bringing one dragon to level 20 to be King/Queen of the park, but even with my boost turned to maximum on my Turbo Production, it would take me at least a week. I'd rather use the money to move 31 dragons to level 15.

It's a matter of priorities I guess, but those numbers are so huge that only a certain type of player seems to relate to them. . With such lofty goals, I think the game developer might be experiencing unexpected consequences.

Just my two cents. I'll stay blue collar and keep grinding.

Oh my!!! That is too much to wrap my mind around. After all my keepers are level 15 and my gold shrines are done I will think about leveling a couple to 20.

Moon moon moon moon moon! Got my first moon! Yay! So I have a 15 Panlong on my Forbidden City Island, and he now has a little baby companion Panlong (whom I shall level to breeding age), I have my Sun which I got a long time ago, and now a Moon! All I need left is Rainbow (and obviously seconds of each rare for breeding pairs). Yay, so excited for it to hatch. I really hope I get a level soon to be able to put in the moon habitat, which will force me finally to rearrange my crummy busy Colosseum Island. Hope you guys got your moons, too.

Yay! Congrats! :thumbs: One more down! Hope you get your rainbow soon and the doubles you need! If you want a 2nd moon you may want to try that combo again while it appears "hot". :thumbs:

Its not a waste it helps to upgrade it to 4 spots on ur hatchery bc even with 4 mine was always filled

No gt500girl its not a bone dragon im refering to bc I have all dragons but the ghost Nd the ghost dragon looks just like a rainbow but invisibe.

Do you have the Epic Breeding Island? This ability to generate twice as many eggs is when you're going to need the larger hatchery. Even with only the breeding cave you could soon run out of spots. It comes from making shorter hatching eggs after longer ones. For example, you have a 48 hour dragon taking up one of your spots for a full 2 days. You then make an 8 hour something. The hatchery is going to be full for 8 hours. If you have a 2, 3, 5 or 6 hour dragon come along in that time you will be waiting on the 8 hour to finish before you can free up your breeding cave again.

Just imagine the wait if you had two 48 hour or 36 hour dragons in the hatchery ...
