I have an IPad 2 16GB and find the display abolutely great. Since the last updage of DV no problems anymore with loading. It starts straight away when i select the icon. Only if I haven' t visited since a while like an hour, it reloads from starting screen.I usually run DV on my iPad 1 (16Gb). Once in a while I run it on my iPhone 4S (32Gb). I'm always surprised at how much better the performance is on the iPhone. Of course the display on the iPhone is simply incredible, but there are other differences. DV loads much faster on the iPhone, especially when you exit it for another app and return.
So I have a question...
How does DV run on an iPad 2? I know the display isn't as good as the iPhone, but how about loading times and caching? I've been thinking of getting an iPad 2, but my son who is an Apple freak advises to wait for the iPad 3, rumored to come out next month. Your thoughts?

My visitors amount went from 150 down to the 60s over a few days. Then I started redesigning an island or two, and it started climbing again. I think that they're attracted to activity, and lose interest during stagnation.I am not sure who responded to my comment on my visitors dropping considerably, the response was back a bit ( I think it was poppy). I was wondering why mine had gone from over 100 to around 30. the response was in relation to obstacles, when the visitors pop out of the portal, if there is an obstacle they leave again. Well, as a result of that response, I did some minor work around my portals and now am back up to 90 or so and sometimes even back over 100. I know we don't get any benefit from them, but it's nice to have them around. So thank you Poppy, (I'm sure it was you and if not to whoever posted the response) because it worked. : thumbs:![]()
I am having some real problems breeding the panlong. I have been only trying mud+blazing and fog+lava. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
We all were like that to one extent or another. But my relationship with my mother today is fantastic; I love her dearly and we visit her whenever we can.We just got to remember they're phrases. I just remember when my son was 13 it was just a push and pull relationship. One minute he wanted my help and the next minute he wanted control. It comes and goes. Now he is a senior, sent out his apps and less than a year he will be away at college. It just seem like yesterday I left for the hospital. This is keeping me preoccupied as I will have an empty nest soon. Maybe too preoccupied. . .
Thank you for sharing. The way I remember it, 17 years ago, was the lawyer said that her adopting parents intended to let her understand that she is adopted, but preferred not to have contact until she was 18 and could decide for herself. I am very emotionally invested in if/when we do reconnect.
I really appreciate the gems that I have been receiving from so many of you. It's a show of support above all. My intent is to reciprocate, and I have the tree, but it's going to take a while. I maintain a list and use a first in first out policy. At this point I'm about 40 gems behind - haven't sent them out tonight yet.
Again, many thanks for the kind support. Poppy's babies appreciate it!
