It's almost funny. I have gotten so many sun and rainbows but can't get a moon or sandstorm. I have tried so many combinations over and over. Now I am too busy with other things to even care too much. Some of you seem to have Bo problem getting enough coins to buy treats but I sure can't.

Stick at it. i also struggled getting a second sandstorm and a moon. It took me ages to get either, but persevere, it will come. It is funny some of us keep getting suns, rainbows others keep getting moons. its just the luck of the game at different times.

According to my calculations, it takes $16,387,000 to buy enough treats to take a dragon from level 1 to level 15. If you use Fogs, which count toward Air and Water, then building 50 level 15 Fogs will cost you $819,350,000. And that's just for TWO of the seven elements. I don't think the combinations allow you to do it for 3.5 times that, but if they do your cost for the food for all seven gold shrines is $2,867,725,000, which is starting to get to National Debt numbers. Seems almost impossible.

One idea I had is to use a very large number of habitats for the high revenue producing premium dragons and Frostfire dragons. I have a pair of all of those, so it would be easy to breed as many as I want. Then just let 'em pump out coins for a couple of months. What do you think?

P.S. One problem I have is that I brought each adult dragon that I kept (31 of them) to level 15 prior to the update and I didn't get any credit toward the 50 required for gold for those.

What I mean is if you look at my islands I have like 6 or 7 water habitats...all but one are full of fog dragons...so I was getting credit towards my 50 level 15's while I was working on the silver shrines. Do you see what I'm saying? While working on silver shrine (water and air at same time) I kept the level 10's, as many as I could have habitats for and am leveling all those to level 15 before selling them so it's killing 2 birds with one stone....just wish I could of done this with all other shrines since I leveled them and sold them all now I have to breed them all over again.

Edit: yes, snow will count towards both level 15's.

Are those figures right? someone else figured it out some pages ago and it wasnt quite that much i thought, but whoa, its huge if it is!

I'd love to have someone double check it - I'd love to be wrong. If they are right I think it would have been more reasonable to set the gold figure at 10 or 20 dragons.

Here is the newest problem I have seen when opening DV and the whole missing gem persons...has anyone else had this problem? I got it yesterday which now I know I am missing 2 names that sent me gems yesterday but I also got it a few days ago and assumed it was only the one person that sent it but I'm probably missing more than one that day too. Ugh!

My 48hr from ice and scorch turned out to be a sun. It will have to sit there for a while while i decide what to do with it, i already have 3 suns, and can't put in another habitat till the next level. Still on the hunt for a second frostfire dragon, and all I'm seeing are scorch and firefly eggs

Those figures to get the gold shrines are scary. I got distracted by the new dragons, but once i get my second frostfire, i will be concentrating on producing food, and leveling my dragons to 15.

Holy cow! Work for 8 hours and get involved in the playoff game, and BAM! New dragon again! Frost fire looks pretty cool. Is this our Chinese New Year dragon? Looks pretty festive. I'll be trying the cold+firefly first once my cave opens up.

Glad to hear about the luck everyone is having! I am incubating a mountain dragon right now and about to breed for a scorch dragon. Also got my lightning today. I'm ready to get to 14 so I can get the other two dragons! Oh and how can you get an air without gems? Is that possible? I also find it ridiculous that this stone costs a quarter mil to clear!

Fire and water together make air and it sucks about how much things cost to clear, but u get good XP from it

Whoopee!!! I got my frostfire! Am so happy to see it hatch. Haven't decided on its name so I'll leave it as Chilly for the time being, which is what BFS named it.

Now, if only my 2nd moon could fly a little faster than the sun dragons..... I've 7 already so you can imagine the anticipation during breeding and the disappointment each time when I see a bright golden egg The money helps of cuz tho...
