Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

I feel a little silly. I finally figured out what you all meant by the Enter button now....I just updated my DV. I don't know if it will slow me down yet, but I will give my report. My dragon update is grim. I got a Forest but no Peridot, Pepper, Jade, Amber or Ouroborus. Still hoping for at least one of them before time runs out.

Hi Suz, I think you have a bronze. I don't have an egg myself to compare it with but the pictures I have seen of the Gold egg seem to have a gold edge to the egg.

DragonVale crashes for me at LEAST once every two days. The Enter button still makes me wait for about 30 seconds before it actually goes in, and it has to reload entirely even if I only exit for a split second.

Does anyone know how to fix this manually? Or do I have to wait impatiently until the next update hopefully fixes my problem?

Just as Sunfresh says we have to wait; i would add - "and hope" - hope they do not realease as quick as they have done lately - like a beta - as someone wrote before.

Namyre - I consider you as a very lucky person, if you only get a crash at least once every two days. I have crashes nearly every time I play - and on every platform with Dv.

Hi everyone, thank you for sending the magic dust my way. Unfortunately no sign of my Peridot. I now have 85 fails and I have started to sell off the eggs as it was too depressing seeing so many. I had hoped that using a level 19 pair and a level 16 pair I might have more chance. On Friday I took my cactus dragon up,to level 20 but still no joy.
I do hope that you are having more luck than me at the moment.

I do hope that you are having more luck than me at the moment.

Having higher level dragons doesn't seem to increase your chances on getting a gemstone dragon. I've gotten all of mine using level 10 dragons. Just a thought.



I got one pretty quickly with Earth and Flower. Got my other as a fail for Amber. Good luck!

Oh no! Jonew! You are still hunting Peridot! That's awful. I feel bad. Aries is correct. To me, there is no correlation between level and good luck. I've noticed on prior months that if I don't get the desired gem dragon by the fifth of the new month, there's not much hope until the last few days. Scary, but its been true for me. I am sending loads of sympathy and more patience along with bucket loads of magic dust! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Thank you so much for the poem. And a big thank you too everyone for your good wishes. For those of you who suggested that I didn't need to use higher level dragons for the gemstones, I have been using level 10 dragons on my second game and no luck in that park either.

Time for another rant at the Wizards. Come on Wizards give me a Peridot NOW!!

Ugh, so I'm trying to get the other 2 Olympus. I have the silver one so when I get another one breeding I have a 66% chance it's one I need but no it's another silver

It crashes every time when I enter from another app. (When I double tap the home button and select DV from the bar) so I have to exit everything, and turn of music, before I can go in.
