I completely sold my plant habitats. Even if I could tap them every minute of the day to get the cash...I love to sleep. Plant habitats are not money makers for me if I add it all up. And it's easy to buy the plant dragon back if I need it in a future upgrade.

I only kept my plant habitats mainly so I could have one of each dragon but then now I have 2 Raindeer dragons that I wanna keep.

Ugh, some of the auto names are just ridiculous. I've been wondering if names like Geoff are actually names of the developers or random names for maximum WTH-ness, haha.

Hi everyone ... Happy new year to all of u... Just wanna say Thanx a lot for all those people who have share their breeding info here... I've actually been viewing this thread for almost a month n I got all the missing dragon done ... So just wanna share on my rainbow breeding... Sorry that I forgotten those username ... I tried bluefire with air plus snow n it works well for me... Bout the rainbow I actually used seaweed lvl 11 and firefly lvl 10 both on the normal n epic island n with not more than 15 tries i get 2 rainbow at the same time n the third one after the previous rainbow incubation is done... And I'm using the same pair to breed as well... Hopefully it helps

Hello, I am new this week also. From what I have read breeding is kind of a crap shoot. I use the DragonVale Wiki Breeding chart with I think is pretty standard and it has been hit or miss. Need to re-breed a few times if the first time does not work.

Hi GT, just had a look at your islands and noticed that you have around 230 million cash and almost Level 24.. My suggession is that if you are going to level up your dragons once you reach level 25, then it is better for you to harvest food now itself as you have enough cash.. Also, it would level you up quicker and you can get the Air shrine and start working on it too.. Because once you reach level 25, all exp that you get by harvesting food will become wasted as we cannot get past lvl 25 for the time being..
But if you are not going to level up your dragons, then ignore my suggession as you dont need to harvest food

Hiya Skaala! Yes. I hit level 24 yesterday and built the air shrine. I'm just getting to the point to where I can work on water/air at the same time. I didn't really think about buying food until I was talking to Michelin through imessages and she had mentioned growing food for xp to level up and get that last shrine. I sure wish I knew this update was coming before I sold all my water and air dragons! Yikes! I have I think 7 air or something like that. K...I do plan on leveling them up. Was just trying to finish the shrines and then take them all to level 15. Right, now what exactly does the XP actually do besides getting us to higher levels? I guess I have been kind of confused about the whole XP thing. Thanks for the advice and I look forward to your reply on all this. Oh, also I am around 20 on water now but air is so much lower so I thought I would try to get fog dragons going until water is complete and then use something like sandstorm or something with shorter times to complete my air shrine. Does this make sense or have you found a faster way to do them both than fog? Thanks in advance! :thumbs:

aha, of course just after I wrote that my second attempt with trying Blazing x Crystal again (Double Rainbow FTW) has got me a Crystal. BLAH! hahahaha. Oh well.

Awwwwwwwwwwww, still 24 hours to go to see what my first rare will be. Someone posted he/she got a sun out of scorch and snow, so i guess mine (scorch/ice) could be sun, too.
Anyway Ill be happy about every baby! Main thing is, it will be healthy
After reading here for a while i get the impression that u get rares more often or faster after having the first one, dont u?

Mine are on different islands and my second sun is still in hatchery. Have to finish my shrines so I can sell a habitat to build 2nd sun. I will post pics when I accomplish that though. :thumbs:

Hey guys, need a bit of help on getting a sandstorm and rainbow?! Ne ideas please??? Xxxx

Somebody told me to use lvl 10 ice + lvl 10 flower to get a seaweed dragon and they gave me a 48 HR first time turned out to be a rainbow that was just before Christmas as for sandstorm I've given up on as I'm after a moon and sun but I hear air + mountain, air + tree, air + crystal are some combos that work but the long breeding and hatching times put me off I'll have a go again if I get my moon and sun been trying sonic + storm for days and a few others in the other cave but getting nowhere fingers crossed that lucky pair will get you a rainbow

Can anyone tell me how much the air and water shrines cost please I've just levelled up 22 and had the lightening shrine become available (5,000,000 OMG!!!!) and I'm wondering since the price has pretty much doubled for each new shrine will that double again for the others it's so hard to save plus need to buy treats to lvl up dragons! making a bit of cash on unwanted eggs from my quest for a sun and moon dragon helps though it's just I'm losing sleep because I'm waiting for things finish or to tap those plant and lightening habitats just one more time lol x

Yikes, I just got two crustals in a row. Spent 24 crystals to get the first one out of the cave and was immediately blessed with a second. Curses!!!

ETA: Double curses!!! I just got a sun dragon from the EBI, put storm and mud back on it...24hr crystal

The shrines count all existing level 10 dragons at the time the shrines are done building.
