Only fire and plant needed. Happy breeding all. She is very red! It's Good Friday here in Australia - red is a good color to choose for this day. Motley - unusual name! Glad for a new dragon.

Motley is a name given to the costume of a Jester...hinting at April Fool's Day. The description even mentions the fake Invisible Dragon.

Aahh there's nothing like putting a third Aqua egg into the hatchery to complete the new goal. And on my birthday too Now if only I could get a Bloom dragon to appear in my park....

Edit: just got my first Bloom in the cave with Storm and Lichen!!!!



Wish i could visit your island.

I only store limited decoration, i have stored many vernal fountain, just to found out it exceed the max 25 allowed for vernal fountain, so the rest is just useless.

I read more posts and you explained what you meant here, thank you. This was unclear to me.

Motley Dragon can be bred with any combination even without Fire and Plant element. This may be due to the fact that Motley Dragon is related to April Fools. So the plant and fire elements are not necessary to bred this dragon, making it's elements a joke. but of course Plant + Fire has the least fail time, only 30mins or 1hr.

I have been successful in my quest for the motley dragon. On my 15th try using plant and flower in my epic breeding cave I got a perfect match. I'm using plant and flower and plant and poison as I don't have a fire habitat. These four dragons all form part of my plant habitat. So, trying for my second motley. The eggs are pretty cool! Happy breeding family.

First congrats to birtdays, progrecesses in breeding every type of creatures in this word as well as eggs of different size and pattern! and Happy Easter (Glad PÃ¥sk!) as our expressions is here in the North, were we revel in eggs during this festival - a tradition from the time when the hens started to produce eggs again, after the dark and cold winter.

I have for long time doubted why we should be happy at all, when the Spring is so hard to get, and when its been up to - 14 C here in the mornings...
I heared a voice saying -
Mene mene tekel u-farsin ....
And I thought - this is it!

Then - like a wonder - the magic came back!



The Sun is one of my specialités - to get 48-hours when I do not need.
The wonderful egg is one of my darlings right now. And you se the two dragons at the cave. On 5:th try I got 13 hours! The DV-world s full of wonders - wonderful!
Now Iwill try for "seconds" = nr 2

May the the dust ...

Fantastic to see that lovely spring egg incubating - it really is a beautiful, colorful dragon when she hatches.
Here's a question for you - what does mene mene tekel u-farsin....mean?

You always bring so much color to the forum with your stories - just love that.

Hope you get the new motley dragon soon too. The falls are short which is a good thing, although seems to be a lot of them before a successful breed. The jester like egg is nice. Happy breeding.

(I wonder, is it related to Mötley Crüe? Haven't heard the sound yet )

The phrase: "Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin" were the words written on the wall by the angel in the book of Daniel in the Bible. ~predicted the doom of the king ...
If I take it from memory I associated to a meaning I think I remember .. (First in my language, then googled it) -
"Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting".

My meaning here was I was not worth a Spring.

After 20 poison dragons and 13 flower dragons, I now have my second motley breeding. I used plant and flower on epic, and plant and poison on epic. Good feeling as my breeding caves will be ready for diamond in a few days time.
