For starter you just have look at Dragon section of the Market, you can see a flag at the bottom of each dragon, that represent their elements, Lichen has a Cold and Plant symbol, so that means you can bred Lichen with any dragon that has Plant and Cold elements in the combination or just simply breed Plant Dragon with Cold Dragon. Lichen is a common dragon, it is the common result when you breed Plant+Cold, but you can also get the uncommon result which is Evergreen. If you got Evergreen you can breed Evergreen+Cold or Evergreen+Plant, you'll definitely got a Lichen 100%

Do you only want the egg for display? When the egg is finish incubating, just tap the egg and select Hatch, it will now let you choose an option to Hatch, Display or Sell. Select Display if you want the egg

OMG! I just got a Leap Year dragon! I used Pollen and Scorch So awesome! My first try for the Apocalypse dragon netted me a Sun. I think next I will try for Bloom. The others are cheap enough to purchase if I can't get them - or I could just wait until they come around at their normal time again

Thank you but the goal tab says to hatch one lichen dragon egg so I guess I have to which ones to breed for that !

Just breed cold and plant together for a chance of getting a Lichen dragon.

Leap Year is going to be my thorn it comes with so many fails. Not to mention Sun/Moon/Rainbow fails.
