Hey Frenzzz, the Shrine Grind is done and dusted yesterday evening.. A big achievement..
The hunt for the Golds is still ON and also can focus on decorating the islands and the egg collection..

Wow that was a great achievement. They should have add it in the goal achievements, so you'll get a reward for that. Now that your shrine has turn to gold, all you need to do now is pile up all the dust from grind then melt it to get your Gold Dragon. Hehe yeah you can now focus on your egg collection unless there will be new dragon again on the next update when the firework will leave.

Thank you for accepting my friend request!! I went to send you a gift on dragonvale but you're not on my friends list, however you're in my game center. Everything I've tried googling has not worked, does anyone know how to fix this please?

What an awesome achievement ! Well done, I have just started on that long journey with just one dragon lvl up to 15, I can now appreciate the work and effort put into getting your gold shrines

Today I had another two hits at trying to breed malachite. Thankfully I have only had about a dozen failed attempts. So, I tried metal and pollen in my normal breeding cave, and tried metal and willow again in epic. To my surprise, I have a malachite in the making - from metal and willow - yay!

Cheers. Just wanted to say I love the look of your islands. Especially your dragon vale island - it looks awesome. You are really creative. I can see that beautiful gold egg waiting to turn into a gold dragon. I also see you have an emerald and pearl dragon but no ruby as yet. You will get her. Thanks for allowing me the privilege of being able to visit you once in a while, and sweep your islands too for the party hats cash. Love the game, again, keep us posted when you get your ruby so that we can all celebrate with you.

I like to have 2 of each egg when possible. I do that simply because when a limited dragon comes out and a winning combo is listed its great to be able to have the dragons breeding at the same time on epic and the normal breeding cave - kind of strategic on my part, but it does not always work out that way! Thanks for the comments on my islands. Sometimes I think "I really should make a change, because I'm getting so familiar with my islands" but I don't think that will happen until we get the next upgrade and the option is there to purchase another island (if and when)

Yeah, congrats on your bone dragon. It's the only one I don't have. I know Marc and others have theirs on display and they look really cool. I failed to breed two sakura dragons, so no egg for me with that one either.

There is new breeding rules posted on DragonVale Breeding Sandbox:

Rule change: Uncommon hybrids (Iceberg, Steel, Quicksilver, Forge, Copper, Pollen, Evergreen) don't appear in 2-element breeds unless basic dragons are used. For example, Metal + Fire can make Forge, but Brass + Fire cannot.

If this is 100% accurate, this is a good news for breeding Gold, coz brass+fire will now only result brass and gold, no more forge.
