The rainbow is playing real hard to get....did anybody have the same problem???....cause I've tried least 20 different combos and none of'em works for me....

Getting a rainbow is really hard, the good thing is it does not required specific combination, it only requires at least 4 elements present, so that is a lot of combination, you can get while trying for other dragon that you still don't have, don't waste your time breeding this, you'll get it when you least expect it. but if you really want rainbow so badly, firefly/scorch+seaweed/swamp have the less fail time, so you can try it more.

I'm going to begin my panlong army and would like to know the best way to do so, I have one panlong already. Would you recommend using that one and breeding him with something else? (if so, what?) or should I just use the common panlong combos?

If you pair panlong with other dragon, like for example panlong+cactus, it will give you less average fail time, but that would give you 20 possible results, the probability of getting panlong will decrease. If you use panlong+blazing or panlong+mud, it is the same as mud+blazing, because the program only reads what elements you put in, not what dragon, except for two of the same dragon, it will always give you another same dragon. So i suggest stick to mud+blazing.

Wow! Lucky you to have so many money makers. I got my second rainbow on the pedestal now. I feel lucky to be finally making some DC! I don't have any of the other money makers yet. Still plugging!

WHAT!?! you just got 2nd rainbow then you put it on pedestal for display?! You should have hatch the 2nd, then breed your two rainbow together so you always get rainbow time, any much you like.

Panlong, rainbow and ruby. Damn yooooou!!!!! I just can't get em.

Instead I am now working on getting the 2nds of my favorite dragons (if I don't already have them) and leveling them up and sticking them into the fountain of youth.

Anyone else see the trade option in the treasure market? I could use one using dc for gems instead....

There is no option in the treasure market that will trade dc for gems (i wish they add that), there's only trade gem for dc, but that is not worth it, 50gems=9,037,500DC

There is new breeding rules posted on DragonVale Breeding Sandbox:

Rule change: Uncommon hybrids (Iceberg, Steel, Quicksilver, Forge, Copper, Pollen, Evergreen) don't appear in 2-element breeds unless basic dragons are used. For example, Metal + Fire can make Forge, but Brass + Fire cannot.

If this is 100% accurate, this is a good news for breeding Gold, coz brass+fire will now only result brass and gold, no more forge.

You can still get pollen with metal+willow because it has total of 3 elements.
The rules only applies to 2-element. So you can NOT get pollen with Pollen/Willow+Plant/Air

So then how would we get a pollen? And how does this affect getting other rares that some not gotten i.e. dodo?

Any idea if the treasure habitat holds only gold dragons or can it hold other rares?

The suggested combo now for gold is brass+fire or forge+fire, coz it is tested that it will not result to forge, only brass and gold
