You should get info about where everyone is (time zone) before you come to conclusions, also check if its the time hatched or time bred

The hatch time would be the same time as when bred if you didn't speed up anywhere, but four days later lol x x x

My 5 yr son just got a moon and I breed it around 9:30 p.m - theory going strong!! By the way, he was so delighted he could hardly speak his voice was so choked up!! He's been wanting a moon since he started! He thinks the moon dragon is the most beautiful.

Wow I've taken up sooooooooooo much space replying sorry guys lol btw no-one has mentioned mothers day why not ??? Lol I had a lovely day with cards and Breakfast in bed then prezzies , a box of chocs and a bottle of diesel loverdose perfume and massive kisses and hugs from my kids x x x

No doubt you've seen the talk on the forum, we're testing whether time of day on your iPhone/iPad affects whether you get a Sun or Moon. We believe that if you put the dragons in the cave between 7pm and 7am you'll get a Moon. Changing the time on your device to always be between those times might do it for you. GL.

All the info goes to the servers and your dragons are bred at the time of putting them in the cave.
We are getting it checked by people around the world, but changing the time on your device is the equivalent of testing in a different time zone.

Interesting. I recall you stating unequivocally at one time that time of day did not matter at all. It's great that you're now in a position to test and draw conclusions based on hard evidence. Another thing that's interesting is that you have found an acceptable way to be impatient.

I've been following the folks on the other forum also and I've been toying with the idea of "setting up" (wink) my old iPad so I can freely conduct experiments.

Yes sir. My first comments on time not mattering were based on the heresay of other forum members saying they have bred Moons in the day and vice versa. Now the memory is very malleable, and without people writing things down and taking careful notes you can't trust them to know exactly when something happened, but as you only need one instance of it happening and there was a great many people saying that time didn't matter, it seemed a safe bet. It most likely was true at the time, with glitches or problems on BFS end with the increase in traffic. I don't think I even had a Sun and Moon myself at that time, lol. I have't even looked up my original records ... wait a sec ...

My first Moon bred at 11:27pm and my first Sun bred at 9:27 am.

It is good we now have the ability to run lots of tests. The guy that set up the account didn't have to mess with his phone at all, but instead runs a program that sits between it and the BFS servers. It allows him to adjust the code that gets sent to them and vice versa. It's pretty cool.

And yes, lol, I can now unleash my inner Poppy and just go nuts. It's pretty therapeutic.

The sample size is small, but when you're not looking for a spread of statistics but rather a yes/no scenario, the evidence is pretty straightforward. Still looking for that once instance to disprove it, and we'll continue to keep track of things. But we just put forward the information we have to help those out there breed a Sun/Moon in the best way we can. GL all.
