You should get info about where everyone is (time zone) before you come to conclusions, also check if its the time hatched or time bred

The time of day on the device is one of the things that is sent to BFS servers when breeding. It would be easy enough for them to use it in the breeding process.

Interesting. I recall you stating unequivocally at one time that time of day did not matter at all. It's great that you're now in a position to test and draw conclusions based on hard evidence. Another thing that's interesting is that you have found an acceptable way to be impatient.

I've been following the folks on the other forum also and I've been toying with the idea of "setting up" (wink) my old iPad so I can freely conduct experiments.
