Did you buy the hibernation cave you can store excess dragons there till you need them? If you have something you don't want ALWAYS put it into either hibernation or habitat before selling. I didn't realise you get xp that way. If you sell direct from hatching you only get cash. It probably cost me a week or so in lost xp. Gd luck

That's strange. I get xp selling direct from hatchery. Airs and sands get me 12 500 xp when selling

It's easy to miss the xp, the coins are so much more visible

You need the experience points (xp) to level up

To add to that the most reliable way to level when you are higher levels is the colosseum. To my level thirty brethren any of you guys notice that we are still getting massive xp post level 30? Hopefully we get the carry over

Another big XP producer is buying $5M treats. It produces a massive 2.5M XP's. I must have jillions of excess XP's - I sure hope they count. Otherwise you might as well put the game away until an update (did I utter that heresy!!??).

Came to celebrate my second Rainbow (hopefully, probably) breeding with good ol' Seaweed and Firefly (in that order), and then I see stuff about a new Leap Year dragon?! Ugh! I haven't been on the forum in so long. Dang! Now I'm off to check the Wiki....

P.S. Both dragons were level 10 and both recently won gold in the coliseum. First try was Poison, second was Flower, and then Bam! 3rd time's a charm!

Lol, I don't know how it's possible not to check in here at least once a day...chances are that you miss a lot if you do. This thread moves so fast. I hope you didn't miss the crucial fact that so far the Leap Year Dragon is only a rumor

Yes, I do have the HC (in fact, spent gems to upgrade all the way up to 100. yike!) and realized I've wasted numerous chances to add to shrines by selling blazings and lavas straight out of hatchery, in frustration, rather than leveling them up and then selling.

But that's a good point, about storing them. I guess I wasn't thinking about storing rares until such time as I could bring them out. Maybe I won't have to worry about selling my beloved (and now only) plant habitat, after all!

I got 5-6 while using cold love that order trying to get a moon. I have a 48 hour in the ebi just now so am crossing everything as I got 2 suns and rainbows. I was practically getting them back to back.

I wondered the same thing about shrines. I only just got the lightning shrine (at lvl22) and thought maybe I was wasting selling fire/lightning hybrids, but am happy to see that it started out as soon as built, at 9 (presumably representing previously-sold dragons). So, hopefully, Poppy, the same will hold true of XP when/if higher levels are allowed, past 30.

I spent about a week trying that mix. Finally put love and cold into ebi and got 48 hours first or second try which was rainbow 1. Second within the week same mix.
Have now been trying opposite for about a week to try to get moon. Have something in ebi 48 hours. Side effect is I got lots of frosties !!!
