I currently have 33 of 50 required for my last gold shrine, the Plant (it doesn't get a gold path on my Colesseum Island). The number you see above is the number of gold coins required to accomplish that. Gold shrines are less daunting when you use the installment plan and pay as you go. I thought it might be fun to try and accumulate that amount of cash and then see if I feel like pulling the trigger.

I was sure I had a rainbow from crystal and blur fire. I got a moon. Fingers crossed for you rainbow.

I have decided to dedicate both of my breeding caves to Seaweed / Firefly until I get my 2nd rainbow.

I am now 16 hours in (and 12 gems short from speeding up breeding so I could ensure my sleeping hours were not wasted) and I have only breeded Scorchs, Seaweeds, Flowers, Fog

I spent about a week trying that mix. Finally put love and cold into ebi and got 48 hours first or second try which was rainbow 1. Second within the week same mix.
Have now been trying opposite for about a week to try to get moon. Have something in ebi 48 hours. Side effect is I got lots of frosties !!!

What would be cool for future update is if you click on one of your dragons you could have an extra tab telling you how you came by this dragon. Almost like an info button. For example clicking on a mud could say water 12 left earth 9 right or some such

That is the most excellent idea I've heard for ages! Great for people like me who get so excited about putting an egg in the hatchery that I sometimes forget to take note of what dragons were breeding at the time!

Jack's (Poppy's Second) Park

I've really been immersed in my grandson Jack's park. It's like a blank slate. Once I started fooling around there it made me realize how rote my own park had become. Mine is virtually complete as I have only the Plant gold shrine left (45/50) - and I view the level 20 concept as peculiar at best and most fit for hackers at worst. So about all I do is sweep for coins.

Jack is only at level 21, so he only has three islands. I had a chance to keep the third island mostly natural and that's the Nurture Island - completely different from mine. His Colesseum Island is pretty much complete. He has only four shrines, but two of them are silver. Thanks to our hot breeding streak the production of his island (even without Pans) is very high and buying treats for level 10 is very easy.

His GCID is queenvictoria5 (his Nana). Send me a friend request if you would like to visit. And please observe Fletch rules: no gems to this park. Oh, and put on your sunglasses before visiting!

Thx Hazel and mc_neeze, ESP for tips on how to think about the breeding. Just tried cold/firefly again, gonna be an 8-hr something :-/ Oh well, will keep trying!

(I'm a little wary of cold/love, as I don't need another moon or sun or even rainbow at the moment, and being only at lvl 22, I'm out of habitats - already will probably have to sell one to buy a habitat for the next 48-er currently in my EBI. Wish I could "store" already-purchased and built ones instead of having to sell and re-buy at some future time :-( )

Well changed my plant/water island up a little bit basically just switched water habitats and shrines. And thencicadded more paths to my air shrine to help my guest travel from one.to another quicker.

Did you buy the hibernation cave you can store excess dragons there till you need them? If you have something you don't want ALWAYS put it into either hibernation or habitat before selling. I didn't realise you get xp that way. If you sell direct from hatching you only get cash. It probably cost me a week or so in lost xp. Gd luck

I got 5-6 while using cold love that order trying to get a moon. I have a 48 hour in the ebi just now so am crossing everything as I got 2 suns and rainbows. I was practically getting them back to back.


Cold and Love just got me my second. Had quite a few Bluefires and Scorch/Fireflys before I got it, though.

Fairly sure first pair were cold, that's important, and blazing. Others used different hybrids on the fire side.

WOW very scary welcome on the landing island. These sun dragons are really uggly and they just jump into your face!
The left island is very nice,I like it very much.

That's strange. I get xp selling direct from hatchery. Airs and sands get me 12 500 xp when selling
