I just got the clover dragon using seaweed and moss both level 7 . I don't remember seeing this combo on this page, so if you have tried all other combos and been unsuccessful , this is another pairing. Oops sorry just saw this pair in original posting from 250strong, sorry about that!

Thanks so much for this guide. I know it must take a lot of work.

Yes its a lot of work, but I am always on here checking the threads and thought I would save my fellow members some time by coming up with a list so they arent bombarded with "How to breed this or that dragon?" questions.

Just gotta keep trying. I am the one who started this thread, and personally it took me until recently to get my 2nd rainbow AND I still am working on getting my 2nd Shamrock.

Wish I had a magic formula for all those who are struggling, but sadly I dont. This is all a part of the game. Enjoy the journey as much as you enjoy the results.

I just want to point out that Flower + Moss is the best combo for getting a Clover because you have the short breeding times of Flowers and Poisons amongst your failures.

Thanks Fletch. I am still working on this. I did follow Poppy's advice and even bred Moss and Flower to level 7, but am having no luck at all. Even put breeding for a Moon on hold. I was lucky with Rainbows, and got Panlong quickly, but can't get a Moon or a second Panlong.

250, after a couple of posts in the Tips and Tricks thread, I'm going to have a look at the treats and do something about optimal food growing for the particular levels regarding cost per food and XP gained. Going away this week-end, but I'll post something here inside 7 days.

That sounds very interesting. I am intrigued to see how creatively you can play around with the treat farms.
My thinking is that the method a player uses to grow food and types of food are influenced by how much coins they have and their need to level up their dragons.
It also has alot to do with how often they want to check their islands to collect their food.

Personally, I set all my treat farms for 24 hour Dragonfruit. except for 1. So every single day, I have what I call "Dragontime" where I collect all the food and send in another dragon in the colosseum. The one left over, I either do 2 hour Blushrooms, or 6 hour plumpermelons, or 1 hour beanstalks, depending on how desperate I am to level up my dragons.

Here is a chart that I found off someone else's excel sheet.
It's kind of old, so it doesnt have the updated food, but it does offer some interesting information...

One more thing to add to this thread is coin generation. Poppy's Panlong boosts and Cold habitats with Blue/Frostfire dragons is obviously important to mention as well as breeding air/sandstorm dragons for profit.
