How do I delete photos from a folder on my iPad Mini 2 called "Desktop"? I need to create as much space as possible for photos I intend to take while on holiday.

Hello Banni. - first, what is the storage on your iPad Mini 2 and how much space is free - you can check easily by going into Settings -> General -> About; second, is the 'Desktop' folder in your Photos App? See the image below from my iPad - I'm in my Photos App and have a number of albums - the images in these albums are made from my 'Camera Roll' - if the albums are deleted the images remain on the iPad.

SO, if the 'Desktop' folder mentioned is an album in your Photo App, then you can delete that folder; however, the pics remain in your Camera Roll and will have to be deleted from there - of course, there are other areas on your iPad to increase your storage space. Please give us more details - Dave :)
