Creating blank page for apps?

Is there a way to create a new, blank page to move apps to? For example, let's say I want to create a blank second page (or screen) and reserve that page for business apps and move all of them there. Then maybe I want to create a blank third page for entertainment apps. This would be easier to do if I can create blank pages.

You can't create new home screen pages until the previous page is full. It's not possible to create empty home screen pages.

Perhaps you could organize your apps into folders.. it would alleviate unnecessary scrolling of home screens.

Or, maybe, put one app on each page while you work on your moving process? Say you have a business app - so put it on a blank page (the first one after all your other pages with apps on it). In essence, start from scratch, making the first page AFTER your existing page represent your future first page. Then, put an entertainment app on the next blank page after that. And so on.

As long as there is one icon on the page, it won't "disappear" once you stop the icons from wiggling. Then, once you have your pages set up, move your icons off your mixed up pages to the pages you want. Once you have emptied a page (cause you've sorted the apps), that page will "disappear."

Man - that came out a bit more confusing that it is. Sorry. :) Hopefully, you've got the gist of what I'm trying to convey. If not, holler back and I'll take another shot at it.

Marilyn, I do understand. It essentially achieves what I was hoping to do, in a slightly round-about way. Thanks.
