Anyone know how to connect to ip4 with thumb drive
You need an iUSBport device!
There are some threads here about it.

Now I have only the iPad2 w/ the CCK (camera connection kit) and a USB thumb drive will not work via this connection - so I'd be quite curious if the iPad4 behaves differently, which I doubt - so any enlightening information would be of interest?
Interesting comment on the Camera Connection Kit. I assumed this would work.... Over on at AVForums an owner posted his newly purchased CCK worked just fine with his iPad 4 see here. Now I have only the iPad2 w/ the CCK (camera connection kit) and a USB thumb drive will not work via this connection - so I'd be quite curious if the iPad4 behaves differently, which I doubt - so any enlightening information would be of interest?
Here is the first one (thanks Kevin!)

Exactly.... When something becomes popular, sells well and trustworthy the very last thing you should be doing is changing it's name.Hyperdrive really confused the issue with the name change and I don't think they did themselves any favours in doing so!

Well, my Camera Connection Kit CCK arrived today and I had mixed results...
It will read the contents of a cameras DCIM folder of photos and videos BUT if you add any photos to that very same list they are not seen by the iPad.
I even tried copying one of the original photos that were already on the cameras SD card then deleted this original and replaced it back with the copy I had previously made..... Guess what, it did not show.
Yep... I'm confused.
