Hello to all,
I've found many different sites where I'm being told that you can connect to an Ad Hoc server with an iPad and others say you can't... I'm using the wired internet connection in a hotel room. The wired connection is hooked up on my laptop and I created the ad hoc connection.
My buddy is able to get it to work using his laptop so I know it's working. Problem I'm having, my iPad won't allow me to connect. I see the wi-fi network created by the Ad Hoc connection but when I select it and enter the proper password, I get "Unable to connect".
Another friend is in another room and created an ad hoc connection with his MAC (I'm on a pc) and everything works for him...
Any help is welcomed... Thanks in advance...
