connect ipad to tv

I got my ipad early..lots of cool apps on it already. I was wondering if someone could tell me how I hook my ipad to my tv...so like on new years eve or anytime for that matter...could play some party games..wheel of fortune...those type of games..instead of family gathered around one ipad. Thanks.

Apple store sells AV cables for iPad.

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like they discontinued it. Can still be found on eBay, but have they stopped it from working through an update or something?

Its was really wondering to set something likes this, a cool application with TV.. and fun with some games like one could play.
