Completely Dead iPad 64gb Sleep/Wake & Home keys do nothing

It's been a few months since we've used our iPad and the last time we used it the battery went all the way dead. Now that we want to use it again, it's completely unresponsive to any connection to iTunes or to the computer at all. The light won't come on and holding down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for 10 secs doesn't do anything either. It's as if it completely died. All of the tips I've found online say that holding down those two keys at the same time will perform a miracle, but so far they've done nothing for us.:(

Hi e35...why don't you try to charge by plugging it to a power outlet, using the charger it came with. Charging your iPad using your PC will take you a very long time compared to charging from the power outlet. Perhaps that is why your iPad was not responsive with initally connecting and /or attempting to reset.
