Can't turn on iCloud on ipad2

I connected my ipad2 to my macbookpro which has iCloud installed. After sync iCloud did not appear in settings on my Ipad2. Any suggestions are appreciated. thanks

I am having the same problem - brand new ipad 2, downloaded all the latest software iOS Lion 10.7.2, icloud working on my Mac - but zippo on the ipad. checked all settings... what to do??
