I've been trying to setup AirVideo so I can stream from PC. Everything is setup fine but the app won't connect to the local server.

I visit 192.168.1.4:45631. On my pc and it loads fine, but not on the ipad.

So i try to connect my router (192.168.1.1) in Safari and again nothing, even though my router shows the device is connected.

I use a ping app and cant ping any local device even though the devices can ping eachother, except for the ipad.

What settings do i need to change on my ipad so it can see / be seen?

Sounds like a firewall issue on the computer side. Try disabling any firewall you may have temporarily to see if the iPad will connect, if so, then you know for sure it's a firewall issue. If you are not using a firewall, I have no idea then, out of my league. :)

Let me make sure I'm understanding the problem right. Your iPad isn't able to connect to anything locally, including your router, but everything else on the network talks happily, correct?

Is the iPad able to connect to the Internet or is it basically connected to the network but not going anywhere?
