Can I tether an iPad 2 to my blackberry storm 2?

As per the title really - I wondered whether this is possible as I've searched and not found a definitive answer - ps the pad is running apple OS

I have managed to pair the 2 devices but they will not stay connected

Any help will be appreciated

What version of OS are you running on the Blackberry? If you have 6.1 then you can enable a WiFi hotspot on the Blackberry and tether the iPad via WiFi.

The os is 5.0 bundle 1611 (v5.0.0.973. Platform 4.2.0.423) - just checked whether there is an update but it's telling me no - where would I find v6?
