Not sleeping just yet... Imagine this.... 3 poorly children full of colds, 1 child gets up from bed and says ' mummy I feel sick' so I go get them a drink of water to return to sick everywhere. I clean it up and say " bring your blanket down we'll sleep on sofa" then just as we get comfy I hear a stir... Child number 2 head down the loo being sick.... So bring her down to get comfy... I'm now sat on a bean bag and my two children are fast asleep with sick buckets at the ready.... Then child number 3 comes down, " mummy I'm all on my own can I come sleep with you... " it may prove to be a long night!

@kêl

Poor babies! I've been there, but with only 2... Also, I have been keeping track of the contests for a while. Sour cream contests have had a minimum winner at 9, 9, 10 made on the last 3 contests. I have placed in all three. It sure sounds easy for this one.

They are stats worth keeping! Thanks for the insight. I suspect it will be more than 10 this time, but would suspect about 14 or 15, I hope so as I am aiming for 19-23... I want the pool hall and am one medal away from getting it with this being the penultimate contest.....

Penultimate! Ah, it is brilliant to hear great vocabulary! Rik, my family (wife, daughter-15 year old history buff, son 13, and me- history teacher) are headed to the Uk in June. Headed to Bath for 2 nights and 2 nights in Cotswolds before heading into Wales to Ireland and finishing 4 nights in London. On the way from bath to Cotswolds, we are thinking of heading to touristy Stonehenge and then to Blenheim Castle and finally to the Cotswolds. Should we visit Windsor Castle? Have you heard anything about the Harry Potter tour? Probably all of the touristy stuff that you have stayed away from, but thought I'd try.

Ae they counting your eggs though? I have one but when I go to try and buy the building it says I need 7, not 6. I think the eggs in our gift tab aren't being counted. Eggs we get from contests must go to storage to e counted.

Missed placing in contest by 3 sour cream...and no gold egg for taking an active part..no way can I get the new building..yet another bogus contest from GI..only a few will get it unless you spend $ for the eggs.

Just to set the record straight, Gab hasn't been banned, we don't write across members avatars, he is welcome here.

Oh well, another ticket submitted with appropriate screen shots. Took active participation, did not place, no golden egg. Their dialogue boxes are very misleading. Let's see what the response is to the ticket. Might be easier for everyone to learn Russian and for the developers to produce their dialogue boxes in that language.

I would definitely include Windsor Castle in your itinerary, a day visit to see the old castle and do the tour, as history buffs it's a must. I wouldn't bother with the Harry Pottter tour...although I haven't done that one and neither has any of my friends... If you are keen then do some research to ensure you are going to get what you want out of it...

Back to BB, I'm glad to say with 24 sour creams I made 54th place - I now have 2 Golden eggs. However, not expecting to get enough to build the 'third' Easter building. I am just glad I got the final medal so I can build the pool hall, as that's a terrific looking building. I see today's contest is yet again Sour Cream, well that's a bit naff..!

Damn - I just fell for the glitch whereby the previous contest remains for an hour. Started the production of Sour Cream to only now see it has switched to Eclairs...Grrrr. Bad GI !
