Apple Sign In ??

Hi all,
This is IOS 16.3.1, 5th gen.
I've noticed over the past few months that the settings icon comes up with an update every so often.....saying.....
"Update Apple ID Settings."
"Some account services will not be available until you sign in again."
So I sign in again........and again another time!!!

Anyone know where on earth this keeps coming from and how to knock it off??

Got it!!
i saw on another site that the IPAD periodically asks you to sign in again for security purposes!! Ken

It’s annoying though isn’t it ? I’ve just recently got an android phone and I don’t miss the constant “reminders“ at all.

This is getting boring now it’s happening about 10 times a day I don’t want to put the password in why would I ? I got fed up and entered it a few times but the message comes back over and over I hate Apple for this best thing I did ditching iPhone for Android and when this iPad dies it won’t be an Apple tablet that replaces it.

Have you set two factor authentication? If you haven’t already done so, it might solve your problem.

No I haven’t if it means signing in on an Apple product I haven’t got another one

I’ve Googled two factor authentication and I dont want it.
