Apple Receipt

Anyone know if Apple keeps records of purchases made on-line from Apple.com? I bought my iPad 2 from Apple.com in about April and do not have a physical receipt. Will I be able to get one from Apple based on the serial number?

Apple does track their produts by their serial numbers not by receipts.

You can log on to apple store usng your ID and password for a copy of transaction Apple emails all purchases to you. If you purchased from a real store they also have a copy.
