We did that. Blocked the app twice.

I found it only works if you block the game from fb website rather then through the fb app. It's worth a go as it worked for me.

Thanks. I remember blocking the game from the fb site too. A few days later was back though.
GI is really tenacious when it comes to Facebook. They just don't want to let go it seems
