I also thought that the update and the resultant loss of greenies would be devastating.
In the event it felt rather liberating and it got me less reliant upon the constant opening and closing. It gave me my life back which, co-incidental with the summer heatwave was rather nice. It also allows you to start the new quests with new destinations (but it is a tough one involving jumbo flights).
I am now slightly more careful in spending the greenies, but I have sufficient in hand to do the essentials plus a few nice-to-have things from future airships etc.
You will need to update at some point. My main fear in not updating was another total game crash and some resultant suspicious questions about my greenies from GI when I asked for a reset.

I feel bad for janie and i'm also miffed cause like others my gifts arent being received.
I can't add neighbours and although I did have good stocks of flight items, without continuing to receive them i will soon find myself unable to fly to some destinations.
These companies are always asking for reviews of the game the minute you start to play in the hope you will give them good Feedback. They can have a review when i've been playing for a while and can give a more honest opinion. I havent sent a ticket this time as they just send standard replies and dont seem to fix issues before closing tickets they receive.

I think we need a new quest to put some life back into this game,

I guess it's dead because many are still on the previous version and chasing greenies.
I expect that until there's a decent upgrade which fixes issues and adds new quests it'll stay like this.
The summer weather in the US and Europe (and holidays) must also make a difference.
We'll get back to the normal fun in time (I hope).

In the garden in the UK we have found something we haven't had for 7 years the Sun but its going to be stormy this weekend so we may be inside I have even bought a BBQ to put together so it's probably my fault the storm is coming or the fact there are so many white legs exposed in the UK causing the sun to be reflected back.
Have booked a holiday in Spain in August to ensure sunshine but UK is so nice at the moment maybe next year time for a holiday in the UK..so risky...

Launch consoles have to be brought with green papers. Robot testers have a better drop from London than Malta. Ergo chairs are truly very seldom and needs excessive flying. Don't give up hope. I got one from Singapore.

We had an awful heat wave last week and this week is below seasonal but that actually means it's absolutely gorgeous outside! I'm near Toronto and it can get unbelievably hot here in summer for a country that's know for snow and ice. Lol

I did the same as Fred and booked an August trip to Spain (Majorca) so I'd get some sun this summer.
However, it's actually been too hot at times during the last three weeks here in Blackpool. I'm not complaining though as I had a wonderful week in beautiful Durham the week before last and our UK weather is now acclimatising me for Spain. The process of acclimatisation seems to involve rather a lot of drinking!
My iPad is always to hand on my travels. Do you think the next update will come soon? They seem to be about once a month.
