It's strange how this game has quietly became a part of my daily routine, without me knowing. Now I feel lost in the morning since I usually play a round or two before heading to work.

When the butterfly quest started I decided to use my spare spyglass to see if the drop will get any better(off course it didn't). To my surprise 4bucks got deducted and my free spy glass disappeared too. So I used the spy glass thinking the one I bought will go into storage but it didn't. I sent a ticket to GI about it asking where my spare spyglass went, GI tells me it's impossible for the game to lose anything and I said so please explain to me where my 4 bucks went or where my spare spyglass went. GIs response:

"Probably, you didn't have the spy glass before. You purchased it in the shop (tab with a smily face) and pressed "buy", so your banknotes dissapeared. When you pressed the button, the spy glass was activated automatically and that is why it was not stored in the warehouse"

So basically saying the spare spyglass was a figment if my imagination

So now you need pictures of your current inventory?????? GI is nuts!!!!

They are good at that. I wrote and asked them why the promo codes had stopped working a couple of weeks ago and they wrote back and said that promo codes did not work on the ipad as there was nowhere to input them. When I explained that you used add neighbour they said that was impossible. Silly me must have imagined it!

Ah the old "impossible for the game to lose anything" chestnut! I got the same response for something else that disappeared from my inventory. Must have been my imagination as well......

Lost all my earrings during an update but thanks to Captain Boyington, I got them all back and more! GI never addressed that one. They were too busy telling me to relax

I find that GI like to tell me that their engineers are looking into the problem, next they ask for screenshots. Then they tell me that their engineers are looking into it some more, then they ask for more screenshots. Finally they tell me that they have closed my ticket still without actually fixing anything.
Maybe they should put some flying pigs into this game!

Yea they mark tickets as solved once they realise theyr not winning or able to solve the issue

Well, my quest is over. Despite GI's reassurances that if I just keep trying, I will succeed, I failed! I completed 1 butterfly collection with all my diligent butterfly tapping. Oh GI, I am sorry to fail you so miserably. You must be so ashamed of me. Guess I'll just have to go hang my head in shame....

Seriously, I will be away from the game for a few days. Taking a little break before they send us on the next fruitless task!
