When the butterfly quest started I decided to use my spare spyglass to see if the drop will get any better(off course it didn't). To my surprise 4bucks got deducted and my free spy glass disappeared too. So I used the spy glass thinking the one I bought will go into storage but it didn't. I sent a ticket to GI about it asking where my spare spyglass went, GI tells me it's impossible for the game to lose anything and I said so please explain to me where my 4 bucks went or where my spare spyglass went. GIs response:

"Probably, you didn't have the spy glass before. You purchased it in the shop (tab with a smily face) and pressed "buy", so your banknotes dissapeared. When you pressed the button, the spy glass was activated automatically and that is why it was not stored in the warehouse"

So basically saying the spare spyglass was a figment if my imagination

It's absolute rubbish that the game doesn't lose stuff! I lost a cash counter that I badly needed after someone sent it to me. After it showed up as a gift it disappeared from my warehouse.
I know it was just a silly cash counter but nevertheless, it disappeared in to thin air!

Sian and David (level 35) Have the usual plus mower, ATM, whiskey, welder, radar, sandbag, towel, video wall, googles, cognac, stapler, power source, makeup, cash counter, lining plate, cooling chamber, master plan, gyroscope, controller. Need dfs especially whiskey, earrings, eau de toilette, skin care, perfume or flight items. Thank you.

Has anyone else noticed that when visiting friends, there are recently more items being dropped that contribute to the running wild quest but there are very few items that contribute towards getting the items needed for points to support a rocket launch?
I could now (in theory) launch 8 rockets but there is little point in doing so because I can't get a fraction of the 1600 points required for success.
Is this another cunning way to try to encourage us to initiate a launch then have to spend money to complete a launch?

...Or am I just getting too suspicious?

They are good at that. I wrote and asked them why the promo codes had stopped working a couple of weeks ago and they wrote back and said that promo codes did not work on the ipad as there was nowhere to input them. When I explained that you used add neighbour they said that was impossible. Silly me must have imagined it!

I could now (in theory) launch 8 rockets but there is little point in doing so because I can't get a fraction of the 1600 points required for success.
Is this another cunning way to try to encourage us to initiate a launch then have to spend money to complete a launch?

I tried twice, received "golden wrench" (planes can't break for 6 hours) and "automatic refuelling" (guest planes are refuelled 10 times faster than usual - duration AFAIR 2 hrs). Both bonuses not worth money spent on them.

My bonus was a inconvertible coin, increase's income, I'm happy with that

At least someone got something useful.

I agree, my running wild quest is overflowing with items, the treadmill doesn't pay any fuel, ???????

No, you're not too suspicious. When space quest clock was ticking it was a pain to collect one treadmill. Now I could initiate 4 launches but have points only for only one.
Space boxes available after completing each space collection usually give me small or medium solid fuel - items with small point value.

Ah the old "impossible for the game to lose anything" chestnut! I got the same response for something else that disappeared from my inventory. Must have been my imagination as well......
