Just received a response from GI regarding both the lack of access to free $ for IOS users and the abominable drop rates for the quest. Here is the reply:

"Thank you for writing back to me! I'm glad to work with you!
So, don't worry about the free cash for the game. We aware that our players on iOS devices want to have more ways to receive bonus. Yes, we are working on it and assure you that as soon as possible something new will appear in the game. As for video offers, we have prepared many of them!

Concerning the matter with new event and quests. Oh, yes, I completely understand your position. That's why I have transferred your request to our developers and received a reply, which I would like to share with you. The quest was properly tested before and after the release and once again upon receiving your inquiry and no errors have been found, all the items eventually appear in the game. The drop rate is a game feature and it is supposed to be a real challenge to complete these quests.

Please, don't give up trying and you will definitely succeed! This is a game."

So, for all of us that are not receiving anything when we tap 50 butterflies, just relax. It's a game. It's a game we're wasting a lot of time and money on but relax. They've designed it this way. You only need to spend every minute of your day working on this to achieve success. Relax......

Lol! You crack me up. I visit as many neighbours as I can each day collect nets and use them on my butterfly's. I haven't completed any of the 3 sets yet. With 2 days left I have no way of doing it. They are talking b#**#@s as usual

Launched my game last nite and discovered to my horror that the game has reset itself to level ZERO. Was at Level 33 and everything that has been built thus far, land expansion, planes, are all GONE.

Am sending a ticket to GI but not expecting them to be able to do anything about it.

If they can't restore the game to the previous level, dun think I'll be able start all over again. It'll be sad to give up the game, and I will definitely miss the community here, especially the regulars including JBG364, Sian & David, Fannie, Red Dog, Captain Flop, Fred123 and others who are always ready to help send gifts and advise on strategy for the game.

In the mean time, please do not send me any gifts until further notice. Thank you.

After Santa quest, which I wasn't able to finish on time without paying greenies I didn't even started Valentine or butterfly quest, because it was obvious that drop rate is set so low to force players to spend real money. Space quest helped a little bit to restore my fun level, but in general my addiction to game is fading.

I agree. The space quest made it fun again but these stupid quests where you have to get nets in order to get butterflies are just annoying.

Need dfs especially whiskey, earrings, eau de toilette, skin care, perfume or flight items. Thank you.

I guess you're trying to send me something smart Barb, (I'm receiving 3 unit fuel from you) is there something I missed with a update or are you just sending fuel? I had to change some suff in my apple ID and haven't updated those settings on my pad yet, so App Store is not up to date.

It's strange how this game has quietly became a part of my daily routine, without me knowing. Now I feel lost in the morning since I usually play a round or two before heading to work.

Now waiting for GI's response, hope I'll have good news to share.

When the butterfly quest started I decided to use my spare spyglass to see if the drop will get any better(off course it didn't). To my surprise 4bucks got deducted and my free spy glass disappeared too. So I used the spy glass thinking the one I bought will go into storage but it didn't. I sent a ticket to GI about it asking where my spare spyglass went, GI tells me it's impossible for the game to lose anything and I said so please explain to me where my 4 bucks went or where my spare spyglass went. GIs response:

"Probably, you didn't have the spy glass before. You purchased it in the shop (tab with a smily face) and pressed "buy", so your banknotes dissapeared. When you pressed the button, the spy glass was activated automatically and that is why it was not stored in the warehouse"

So basically saying the spare spyglass was a figment if my imagination

I wrote and asked them why the promo codes had stopped working a couple of weeks ago and they wrote back and said that promo codes did not work on the ipad as there was nowhere to input them. When I explained that you used add neighbour they said that was impossible. Silly me must have imagined it!
