I just saw the announcement of the weekend code. GI is now coming right out and saying that it is not for iPad and iPhone users because Apple doesn't allow it. I put in a ticket to GI saying that no matter the reason, it is discriminatory and must be addressed. They could easily fix it by making an in-game bonus like they have in other games. Then it is part of the game itself and Apple would have no objections. Maybe if enough of us get on their case, they'll do something. (I just re-read that last sentence and it's making me laugh. A lot!)

Thanks for the update, Frenetta! I was wondering why the weekend code hasn't worked for me in the last few weeks, this explains...

Hello everybody,
I just started a spaceship launch (22 hours left). Because of a bug on my wife's iPhone game, I can't complete. If anyone could join and help, I will be glad.
In-game name: Zyzol1412 (lvl 30)

Zyzol, what sort of bug on the iPhone are you experiencing? I play two games, one on iPad and one on iPhone. I upgraded to v1.11 of the game yesterday. (I skipped the first update, 1.10, that came out after Valentines quest). Now, my iPhone game (username: pdxsk3) will not visit neighbors, the "Add Friend" tab is gone, and connectivity to GI won't work (example is I can't send gifts and the 300% sale doesn't show up)

Everything is ok on my iPad game though. I am wondering if it has something to do with me using the same Apple ID on both devices, although I tried a new one on my iPhone but that didn't fix (not to mention screws up other things like my purchased apps).

I put in a ticket to GI and got a relply of "try resetting the game by closing down properly and powering off then on your iPhone"...ummm..that's what I tried first! Now I play the waiting game for help.

I have exactly the same problem and I also use the same ID on each device, but then surely that is what you are expected to do! "Reset your phone" seems to be the standard GI response, usually followed by "It will be fixed in the next update"

I haven't been able to find you as you've become one of my many 'usernames'. If you can find me and send me goalposts, I'll return them to you. I have them in my gift list so that should work. I've had you on my list for goalposts for days but . . . .

Is anyone able to gift aircraft tires? Since the latest update, my planes need to be repaired every other flight. Has anyone else found the same?

Well I updated to iOS 6.1.2, did my jailbreak with full backup. And guess what. My game is still stuffed. It seems to me that the game is battling to connect to the GI servers. I have no idea why as everything else on my ipad works fine. So I can't visit anyone, I get notifications of gifts, but I don't get them, and I am stuck with a launch I cannot access. I sent out a ticket to GI as soon as it happened, but no response. So I think it is an access issue.

So sad as it has taken all the fun out of the game for me.

Can anybody explain why i suddenly need to wait 24 hours before my shuttle will land in stead of 1 minute? Has something changed ?
